Well, personally, I dont think choosing a non stock frame or lens will hurt our chances at all.

It might be more expensive for a new color frame and new lens but who knows ? We wont know for sure until later.

Ti, ruby and some other lens cost more to make thats a fact.

I am not against giving them 1 of the 3 choices made out of stock parts, as long as the 2 others are something else too.

I can just see those flames MD, in ice fire or else.

when stock parts, than a real nice one, not a combo that will be ugly, eg a clear frame with fire or sth else

Well thats why we will vote on the combo Tom, for me clear and fire would be cool, we all have different tastes.

Hopefully the final choice will please the majority.

Phil, if our crazy ideas get shot down then ofcourse we can try again for a stock combo. im hoping it wont be a problem cos we will be for asking for a frame colour that does exist just on a different frame. same goes with the lens.
i just think its worth the try cos otherwise its like aiming for second place in a race when you have a chance of winning.

For the most part Fingerprint is near white, or grey. I would love a bronze or copper Fingerprint pattern though. Nothing overly colorful. Tribal may be interesting on white. A silver tribal on a metallic white with Ti Ir lenses.

the other colours i was thinking would be stretchline neon colours with white, so neon pink/white etc but i can see now that would be too outrageous to wear from most.

It's a cool idea though. Def stretch and very 80s. We can always go Splatter. A white frame with black and blue paint splats. A black frame with white and pink splats.

A more bright frame will be nice, a black frame looks more like fluoro and think this colorway wouldn't fit somebody.

The camos would be cool but are they for everyone? The orange is nice and I would love it on a FatCat but I'm sure on a frame with less of a lens it would scream, unlike on the goggle.

Tribal just doesn;t thrill me no matter what color combos have been thrown out into the suggestion ring. And I don't want 80s either but Splatter could be cool.

Back to camo though, what about Black Camo? Not Night Camo, but the camo pattern in greys over a black base frame? Is it the same camo film for all frames and it has a slight transparency to allow the under color to tint it?

There's no Polished Black MDs. I think Polished Black / G30 would be tight.

Or just to be crazy, Plasma / Gold Iridium.

Polished Black is there. With Amber Black and Black polarized lenses.

im definately onboard with camo, but i dunno about another dark one but i guess im just worried it will look too much like night camo.
the neon green camos are one of the dream MDs so ofcourse id love them, and that orange camo kicks ass aswell.

im hoping they will do copper tribal on a sunglass frame soon anyway so yeah we should rule that out for our sig.

so a camo or a new fingerprint colour will be what im voting for.

I'm actually really intrigued by the camo and fingerprint ideas. I think the orange camo is awesome but I do think Phil has a point with it not being for everyone. But I do think his other suggestion, black camo, may be a cool compromise.

I think theres already enough dark frames for the MD, even Cinder Red looks like black...

I think a black camo would be way too similar to the Night camo ones.

Actualy, theres already 4 polished black MD, 3 matte black ones , one glitter and the crystal frames who look black when worn.

The Monster Dog needs some colours other then blackish or brownish ones please !

I still think that combo would be nice. A VR28 Black MD would be cool too, but what colour frame? Polished aluminium? Brown Smoke? Copper? Rootbeer?

To me, the bright colours on an MD are like overdose.
