What is the market going rate for an Oakley single display stand? I'm curious as I just paid $25 for one and wondered if I paid through the nose.

I'd say $25 is a reasonably fair price for both buyer and seller. There are plenty here who haven gotten far more by free by a magical combination of luck and forged relationships. But I wouldn't feel horrible about $25 ... a lot more has been spent for a lot less.

I thought it was a fair price but I was curious about what the market price was.

It's a fair price. I wouldn't pay that much for one, but I have no real desire for one. You ask for market price, well since there is no set retail price, price will fluctuate based on supply and demand. Everyone here would be the main culprits in driving the price up.

I've seen some stands on ebay Australia where the seller started the bidding price at AU $90!!! Total rip off merchant. It's a contentious issue but I believe if you're looking to make a profit from Oakleys you should question why you are into them in the first place.

They go for over $100 USD here in Japan so $25 is a great deal from where I sit.

I will gladly pay twice that price if only SGHs' here will sell them to me. If I can find one who will sell them....

one sold on Ebay uk for £12 yesterday, i think this is fair but would pay much more...
I tried to sell a twin one on ebay late last year and was advised by another ebayer to remove it as he said Oakley dont like people selling these as they werent ever ooriginally for sale in the first place so i guess they class them still as their property!
One ebayer i spoke to was removed for doing this!!!

I think you got a helluva deal on the stand for $25! I have had offers of up to $150 for them. I haven't ever sold one but I get offers regularly.

That much for a display stand? Who are these people and can I be their friend? If you're not willing to sell your display stands, hook me up with these people. For $150 per stand, I'm sure I could accomodate them.

I used to keep their emails in the hopes that if I came across extras. I eventually delete them to keep my records clean, but if I get anyone else asking, I will send them your way.
