To go against Dann's opinion, I like it. It is very "stretchline" and has some small design intricacies that are very nice. It should do very well and I'm sure we'll be racing around for it. Now if we can get some new Fat Cat colorways in the meantime to hold us over.

So Phil it's definitely an O-Matter frame like Ed said right?

Can you give us any other hints on it's design?

I think OTT style means, Over the top design, as in crazy, not the physical shape of an OTT. Which reminds me of the OTT I saw at HQ, drooool.....

I'm talking about Monte Frio, we didn't see Jigsaw nor know much about it. But yes, Frio is O-Matter, stretchline. That's all I can say.

Good point Dann, I forgot that they kind of had that OTT line on the site before the site got revamped. OTT with well the OTT, Plate and so forth.

Either way it still has me even more interested being OTT in design.

What was the OTT you saw at HQ? You knew someone was gonna bite on that tid bit you left hanging there.

This whole thread is like an inside joke between Dann, Phil, & FP. Oh how cool it would be to be "in the know"

Do you guys think that if Oakley have given NEW glasses to pro sportspeople to wear out and about (thus promoting Oakley) then technically the pair can be classed as released?

What I mean is if hypothetically there was a pic on getty images of Shaun White in the Montefrio then surely we should be allowed to post the pic in the forum?

Conventional wisdom would say yes, but when lawyers get involved (no offense to lawyers), all bets are off.

Please, no posting pictures of new stuff unless pictures have been officially released by Oakley. I'm sure we all want to avoid a repeat of what happened last time.

Is there a thread about what happened last time? I must be too new still because I've heard things about it, but I don't know what actually happened.

Even when Shaun White had it it could still most likely have been in developmaental stages and technically not ready for release as Oakley may still had been tooling the frame, etc.

As for another odd possible stretchline pair that had surfaced on a girl in the last PDF, basic fashion sguare whatever, they are not oakley but Fendi and O was only promoting the watch in the photo.

As an aside, and I know I keep going on about them (just because they're so weird), does anyone know anything about the Liuzzi frames? Were they even O?

Yeah, I had asked about those out west but I think our guide thought I was talking about Monte Frio there as well. Glad to hear they aren't O.

It's so hard to talk about new O that 98.5% of us haven't seen or know hardly anything about. As a group, I don't think we deal well with patience and restraint. ;)

*Tick just finishing installing new monitor to replace the one he smashed from lack of patience & restraint* Um, yeah. What he said.
Actually Montefrio sounds a little like "Want de free O" so maybe it's a model that Oakley is going to give to the OR members in appreciation of the dedication to all things Oakley!

Isn't Monte Frio Spanish for "cold mountain"? I wonder where Oakley is headed with this name?
