I think it just allows you to check the boxes pricedollaz

I hope it doesn't assume that the email address you used to register for Type-O is the same you use for the social media and that's how they're monitoring it... because I use a totally different email address for social media to filter SPAM from legitimate email...

Also, just noticed the "BETA" verbiage is now removed from the login page.

well then I don't understand it.... basically just buy Oakley shit scan it in and get enough points to hope for free downloads?

There's a FAQ page now, but in the end, what they consider loyalty will really only apply to new revenue. I know many of us here see the whole spectrum and most of the purely vintage collectors are highly respected, but I bet the finance board would see it differently.

It does very much appear that this program is to promote sales of new product (not just optics) from their retail stores and generate more foot traffic.

I'm wondering if this is also designed to reduce 3rd party sales, by unauthorized re-sellers, that sell new product online and slightly undercut the brick & mortar investment they have made. (non-vintage eyewear)

From a personal standpoint, the Type-O program fits me perfectly. I purchase from O Stores, Vaults, and their websites. And now my loyalty to support the retail is going to be rewarded...

But from vintage collecting and purchasing online or from other collectors, yeah, no benefit...

So, the message for my X-Metal print said, "expect delivery week of 03/16/2015" Well, checked the mail today and nothing. One day left in this week, as far as mail is concerned. Hmmmmm, If anyone has gotten one of these in the mail, how was it packaged? Just curious. Thanks in advance.

I haven't received one in the mail supersharp, but the one I received at the collectors event was in a tube, ~4" in diameter, that could have easily been used for shipping. (I can take a picture of it if you want, just let me know)

So that print never showed up last week or this week thus far. I went back and check my Type O account, and now it's not showing on my account either. Did they send that to me by error?

apparently you can only register glasses too, no other goods will take the SKU... too bad, as I bought about $1k of stuff in the last few weeks, and only 2 pair of glasses...

You still get points for clothing purchases...you just can't register clothing for warranty.

At least we earn points for apparel... Greg, I think you and I are on the same page with the amount of non-eyewear purchases we make, in addition to eyewear.

I will note this, I registered (2) of my recent eyewear purchases last week, still waiting to see the 2x40pts show up in my Type-O Account... I have an email inquiry into support. (I'm holding off registering any additional eyewear purchases until I see these go through)

...still awaiting info on reward unlocks since I haven't seen any unlocks since Level 3/4.

In the same boat. My in store purchases showed up right after but my receipts and online registers arent coming through yet.

Delilah at Type O is pretty good at processing my scanned store receipts. She usually replies within 2-3 business days to let me know they have been posted.

The eyewear registrations seem to be a bit more random. I remember a few months ago thinking my first try to register two new pairs didn't take since they weren't showing up, so I entered the information again. About a week later, I got 4x40 points. Oops.

I'm hoping to hear back from her today or tomorrow. :)
