The Madman is more comfortable to wear compared to Mars. My head is not in the small category, so this is the reason for that. And Mars arms are not very flexible, which is the case with Madman. The Madman is a bit wider and higher as well.

Also, the hinges on these new models are probably similar to the ones on half x. Maybe not the best choice in my opinion. I have a pair where the pin got loose and that pair is not the same.

An inquiring mind might ask:
The cut-away at the nose bridge seems rather large. Does this allow an annoying amount of light in to the orbitals?

It let's in some light around the nose. Could be annoying with the light coming from the wrong direction...

These are an absolute classic already!

I just know they are gonna go up in value over the decades :)

I'll be getting two pairs at least!

Thanks for posting

The more angles I see of the Madman the more interesting it gets. They look comfortable... How stable are they when wearing them?

Not as tight at the original X-Metals, but I always felt those were a little too snug. These feel just right, and despite the smaller lenses, you don't notice. The Badman is even better for all day use.

Chris: I have a feeling that many of us thought Madman = Mars 2.0.

Michael: Thank you of the excellent comparison shots!
