Here's the Concept Studio version, which will be $300 less than the LE, but it will be a stroke of luck to be able to buy them.

People are literally gonna have to kill each other to get those.

It will be a raffle, so there shouldn't be much madness. Just hard feelings.

That's a fair way to do it, and I suspected as much. Now they'll just have to kill each other for the raffle tickets. LOL. Joking aside, it's good to see Oakley adding special things to these collector events.

Let's hope they limit the raffle to the collectors displaying. (wishful thinking)

Those pairs are so dang fugly the way all those pieces clash with each other. I'm trying to think of any other pair that is Oakley made that I think is worse, but nothing comes to mind. With that said, would I take one? Yes, haha, that's a collector status pair right there. Reminds me of how some of the flat out ugliest sneakers are the toughest to get (not a sneakerhead just know some people who are).

My thoughts exactly. A must-have, haha. I'm the same way with movies. I actively seek out the absolute trainwrecks.

Congrats Michael!!! Glad you are able to get your hands on one. I saw Covent Garden posted a pic of them today...

#121 is spoken for at my local Bunker... #122 was transferred to a higher volume store...

...I seriously have a screw loose.

They solved the problem of needing EMS onsite by having a raffle to purchase...

Now they just need to have Security to escort the buyer to their car...

All kidding aside, I seriously hope there are no crazed incidents ...it's going to be interesting.

Can't wait to see who ends up with them both!!!

Just picked up a pair and really love them! Fit is fine, looser than the older X-Metal line which took some getting used to. This is largely adjusting my expectations based on years of slowly pinching my Mars onto my head. I love the design and am very pleased with the overall reboot of a classic line.

However, I have only had them a week now and have noticed some wear on the inside of the orbital next to the hinge. It appears as though a section of the ear stem rubs against the orbital during closure and has removed some of the plasma finish. Has anyone else had or noticed this issue? I'm afraid this may lead to long term surface finish issues.

Sorry for the bad image; the target area is small and hard to see without proper lighting.

Good noticing the damage. If this is recurring, they should consider and fix the issue before next model.

Yes, I would say there are coating issues, or at the very least metal-on-metal contact issues. All the pairs of MdM and BM I have seen had the coating flaking at the same spot where the earstems folds, and some at the top of the orbitals at the screw intake ports. If they truly are X-metals, the issue should be fixed in 2 or 3 generations. ;)

To all my friends, I have been given the opportunity to buy another RAW. I could do that and sell it to any Of you collectors just to know it doesn't go to some leech.
The price, since it is from London, will be £790 plus shipping to you. £790 is what I have to pay including shipping to me.
Pm me if you are interested.

I love that case! I would love to be able to find one to pick up.

Does anyone know if the regular black cylinder case will be made available for individual sale?

790 pounds is like $1600AUS or $1200US ..... yikes think i'll have to pass on that one Michael.

Hopefully a european collector can take advantage of your kind offer.
