I'm going to go with aftermarket as I can't imagine the designer at Oakley who made the original or anyone he would have given it to selling it on eBay.

I asked the designer, and he said 'no'. Just the Joker Frogskin, and a Tumbler Eye Patch.

Anyone here care to post their prototypes for everyone to appreciate?

I think I posted these before, but I forget where. At any rate, a larger scale JB orbital and a RJ switchlock concept.

I don't know why Oakley 3D printed only a portion of the glasses (cost or different phases to the modeling?). You see a lot of these types of prototypes displayed in Oakley's Engine Room, but I'm too lazy to ask why they used that approach to prototyping. If someone knows, please let us know as well.

I saw the array of about 7 different prototypes that lead up to the modern Jawbone, and of them, only the switchlock portion remained relatively unique. Many incorporated existing styles and they didn't have to print the stems. They just popped on stock parts.

Oakley gave away these big solid blocks of engraved metal back in the day when they still had an aluminum fetish:

Oak-
The more I see of your collection...the more I'm glad I don't live near you as I would be tempted to buy your collection.

Awesome stuff as usual!
