The Oakley Review Forum is now open. It's sort of in beta, but hopefully will flesh out soon enough.

Same guidelines apply to the forum as do the reviews, just post intelligently and everyone will be happy.

Hello all...

...4 or 5 of us that is.

I am Phil and let me throw out as many Kudo's as I can to Dann for starting a site that should have existed years ago. I always knew there were others out there like me and now we all have a home. There was one other guy in High School that was into Oakley as much as I was (If I can find him I'll get him on here), a few people on Ebay and now years later here I we are.

I can't wait to help Dann develop his site into something extraordinary and different from anything else out there.

First I just want to highlight the amazing work Dann has been putting in this site, it's amazing the job he's done, and it's our duty as Oakley maniacs to help him improve this already-incredible website. Finally, something that can gather us all and let us unleash the "insaneness" of our passion!!! Thanks to all of you, and I hope that all of us will put effort in making this even bigger. Thanks. It's been a ton of work, but very fun to do. Everything should be in place now, save for adding the M Frame replacement lenses, which is so time consuming an monotonous, that I keep putting it off.

hello all! my first post...

i stumbled upon this site last night and was amazed with the extensive information on Oakley products. I've been looking for something like this for a long time and an glad i found The Oakley Review. Dann and everyone has done a great job. love the site... i even added five reviews today, and will continue to ad more. it's nice to know i'm not the only person that has more than two pais of sunglasses, all Oakleys for that matter.

I agree with the others. This site's been a long time coming. I'm very happy to be a part of it. I also like the price of membership. Perfect for the guy saving up to buy his next pair of Oakleys. If I had any complaints, though, it would be concerning the the photo on the home page. Eight pairs of Oakleys on one head is impressive but then to wear a ((gasp!)) Champion hoodie?!?! :^) Keep up the good work Dann.

I just found this site a few minutes ago (while looking for more info on the new M Frames worn by Lance at the Tour.)

This site is just awesome. A place just for Oakley fans. You can't ask for more.

A little about my Oakley experience. In the early 90s, I saw a picture of the most amazing sunglasses I had ever seen. The M Frame - Heater. I fell in love right away. I got a pair of Heaters not long after that. Followed by two more pairs of M Frames, Sweep this time. Then in the late 90s, I got a pair of Pro M Frames. Everything was great, but a few years later, the left earstem broke. I didn’t buy a new pair for a few years. But a few weeks ago, I went to Oakley.com and when I saw the Ice Iridium lens, I had to have it. So I ordered a FMJ/Ice M Frame that should be here this week. But since I hate to wait, I checked out a few places that sell Oakley’s in the region and found a Black/Grey M Frame combo that I liked, so I got them too.

It’s good to be wearing Oakley’s again.

Dann, while there are other Oakley's that I like (Juliet, X Metal XX, Splice and a few more...) It's the way the M Frames fit. It's just a perfect fit.

I'm Martijn from Holland, 5 years ago I bought my first Pro M Frame (FYI, it's still in mint condition), and since then my Oakley collection only has been growing. :)

Currently:

Jackknife 4.0 w. prescription

Square Wire 2.0

2 M Frames

2 Pro M Frames

Awful lot of M Frame lenses.

Owned some Half Jackets and Zero's for a short while but decided to stick to my M Frames.




I'm gonna sleep now, I'll post some pictures and reviews later!
