I like this. I too, have the Scar, and I got it because of how orange it is. Think Matte Orange Clear, and there you go.
got this option on the scars, looks ok when its real sunny, otherwise the matt looks cheap-this colour relys on the crazy design of the scar to pull it off.
Butterscotch appears to be solidified liquid, almost golden in color yet transluscent. While it's certainly true that the frame garners more attention than most others, if worn with matching attire it looks perfect. 24K Gold iridium (in the Scar) compliments this frame option perfectly and brings new meaning to the word "incredible".
In theory I like this frame, particularly on the Scar, but in actuality I don't. I have tried this frame and I just don't think it looks good. Too "carnival" for me. Looks silly and way too bright. To me, if you are going to scream out for attention, there are much cooler ways to do it than with the Butterscotch.
This is totally different in the Scar version, it has the same frosted beach glass effect as the persimmon scar but these are goldy orange instead of bright orange.
very very nice and another one that looks super in the sun.
I thought they looked cool in the photos, but they look tacky in the flesh, at least in Five 2.0. Still, pretty funky nonetheless.
This is a confusing frame.
in the five 2.0 it is a dark crystal orange but then in the scar it is less see through and more of a pale orange colour.
it is also very similar to the 10W40 and persimmon frame.
Picked up a Butterscotch frame in the Scars when they first came out. I thought they were the best / flashiest option at the time. But I have to admit the butterscotch love wore off quite quickly. I just don't dig the matt-clear yellowish color on this frame. A bit dopey in my opinion. The Scar line continued to come out with so many better color options (chrome, FMJ blue and red).
