Ive seen this one in the net but after i got a hold of it in person..boy im not letting it go. its quite heavy and solid, actually its heavier than my time tank which is considerably bigger. The weight is actually a plus for me for it gives the watch a more masculine feel which compliments its extraordinary design. im sure ill be getting a lot of compliments from it the same way i get when im wearing my time tank. cheers to the mad scientists in foothils ranch.

After reading the last comment I am afraid to take this watch and send it to oakley just for a battery replacement. Anybody know the size of the battery on this bad boy?

This is a follow up to my previous post. The local time was not working when I bought the watch. I sent it to Oakley and they called back to say that the movement was broken and discontinued. Not only can they not fix it, they can only give $137 credit towards a new watch-far less than what I initially paid for the watch. The customer rep was extremely nice but I'm left feeling disappointed in the Oakley product. As someone who collects their gear, supports their cause, and persuades friends to buy their product, the fact that the company low balled me on credit for a new watch and can't fix the movement of their own piece that they trumpet with durability causes me to question the quality of other products. I will still buy from the company but, in the future, I'll be more hesitant.
One of the coolest watches, ever! It's got a lot of gadgets and I'll probably use most of them...it's just hella confusing to set! Great job, Oakley. This is a nice casual or dress watch. Great for the business person on the go!
just look at that baby! you will never ever find a better looker!Oakley rocked out on this one! any color but I like the polished/black!!
Bracelet: Polised
Face: White
This is my favourite Oakley watch simply for it's styling.
Mine has the unique combination of polished case/bracelet paired with a white face.
This was down to a previous owner meticulously polishing each individual component with a metal polish, removing the original brushed finnish. (which tends to show up any blemish)
The world time feature is very rarely used as is the alarm. The weight and feel of the watch just oozes quality.
The only reason it doesn't get 5/5 is for the design of the second hand, which looks like it would be more at home going back and forth accross the bottom of a space invaders game!!
I love my White Dial Oakley GMT but battery life is quite short, that's the only negative about it since it can only last about 2 years plus compared to other Oakley Watches but still looks better than any of it on my opinion. I'm still waiting for a better design so I can have another Oakley Watch but sad to say it's not happening yet...
My Honed Blue GMT has a beautiful blue watch face that matches real well with the white and red of the rest of the watch face, as well as the stainless steel casing and band. The band is wonderfully comfortable to wear, although the clasp catch can initially be tricky to unlock.
*******************
I subsequently added the Honed White and Stealth. Had compliments on the latter from a restaurant waiter once. Each has it's own unique slant to beauty, but the spinal design of the band is definitely the stand-out feature for this model.
One great watch. Love the feel, looks and build quality. The watch is heavy but im a big guy so i never have felt the weight much. Compliments everywhere i go about this watch.

I really love this watch - everything about it is just so freakin' cool, but it's just so heavy which makes it kind of difficult to wear for a long period of time (I'm not a "girlie-boy," just a cripple). The design of the watch is great, all of the color options are appealing and the concept of the time zone feature is an incredible and unique idea. I was prepared to give this watch 4 skulls do the weight factor, but I just couldn't give it anything less than a full 5 skulls because I'm just so crazy about this thing. For those that don't have a GMT, if you can find one for a reasonable price, get it - you won't regret it.
Best watch ever! Very rare down under, and I have had heaps of compliments, often from company executives with watches over 10 times the price of the GMT (I am a courier). Its so solid and still looks new after 3 years of hard use. I can understand why ppl would want more than one of these fantastic watches. It is a bit heavy but u would have to be a girly-boy for that to bother u! Great for work, play or big nights out.

I received this watch in a trade and compared to my other GMT this color scheme is really a world apart from the polished. I found the polished band to make a brash statement with its flashy look where has this version is more sophisticated but subtle at the same time, all the long while being very classy. Perfect to compliment a nice suite or tuxedo.
Im happy with my white face GMT. Looks very decent and has that sporty look with the chronograph features.
My Polish Black GMT has been regarded as a "pimp watch" and I don't mind it one bit. it is pretty darn heavy, and it has set off metal detectors, but I find it awesome because of the steel being hypo-allergenic to my skin. Furthermore, the time zones make it look really cool.
Combo: Stealth Black
Another amazing Oakley time piece. This one actually requires you to read the manual because it can change the Earth's orbital axis or something. To be honest, I haven't even begun to figure this thing out. It should help me with my timezones, but that's not the reason I bought it. It is just a classy looking piece of work that makes me proud to wear. It's got a lot of heft to it and I like that. Great detail with the hands and the dials, just a real nice watch. I can see why Bong has them all!

WOW, what a beautiful, heavy time piece! My first O time piece too. This is the classiest watch in the GMT line, IMHO. The one thing I really like about this watch right out of the box is the fact that it fits perfect. But did I mention it HEAVY! Solid like a tank...Overall a very beautiful watch and the clasp is neat as well. I know their are those that prefer the stealth but I really like the polished, very classey.

Just love the way it looks! It's a bit on the heavy side, but that's only positive. When I wear my Crush 2.0 it feels like I'm not wearing a watch at all.
Lot of good comments about the 'Spinal-Column' look of the band.
Absolutely in love with my Ion Black/White GMT. I have never had so many comments and questions about my watch.
I've had it for two years now, and though it has some scuffs and scratches from various incidents, its still a beautiful piece.
best investment i have ever made.
Frame: Ion Plated Black

absolutely stunning colour scheme! i thought my Polished/Black was my favourite GMT until i saw the Ion Plated Black/White in person... the look totally blew me away. i love the fact that all the crowns and buttons are a contrasting chrome that stands out against the Ion Plated Black casing and bracelet. the black bezel with white lettering looks beautiful as well, and actually compliments the white dial face. unlike the Honed/White version, the subdials are not the same white but actually grey, which adds to another contrasting element to the white dial face. its a beautiful watch that can be dressed up or down, and look classy and aggressive at the same time. well done!
Frame: Honed
Face: White
everything i've said about the GMT still rings true, but this Honed/White colour scheme is a different beast altogether, or lack thereof. this one is definitely the most conservative looking of the five. one might think that it would look like a huge expanse of white and more white because of the dial face and the similar looking Honed casing and bracelet, but actually brings out the lettering around the bezel and hour/minute tick indications. very classy lookig watch.

Completely awesome, one of the best investments I've ever made! It's definitely one of the jewels of my collection. I wear it everyday to work right now and I never get tired of it. I get complimented on it often. It can be worn in just about any situation, dress or casual. Form and function at it's best.

This watch is workwear, (£75 ebay)
It has been bashed, knocked & abused and still it looks perfect.
Love the sculptured back bone design of the band
Work collegues have even bought them due to their resilience.
Absolutley love this watch.
Use the alarm as not to miss other Oakley ebay bargains!
Frame:Stealth Black Face:Stealth black
This watch is awesome. This is definitely the best watch oakley makes. I picked it over the judge because it can be used as a dress watch and also has an alarm which the judge lacks. I picked it over the timebomb because it has a sapphire crystal face in comparison to the cheap mineral crystal in the timebomb. The pictures of this watch do not do it justice to what it looks like in person.
as much as i love the GMT , i hate the fact that the pins that hold the bracelet together are coming out after a while. i was told that it is because the links are too heavy for the pins , and a solution to the matter would be to squeeze the inner hollow tube a little bit more, and re-install the pin.
other than that , the features work just fine , and it is by far one of the best looking watches out there
Frame: Polished

beautiful beautiful watch! as with everything i said about my Honed/Blue GMT, i don't really have anything negative to say about it. the black face is stunning, and it contrasts nicely with the three sub-dials. the highly mirrored Polished finish on the casing and bracelet is definitely eye-catching. the Polished/Black combo is bling yet looks professional at the same time. it can be dressed up or down... slots perfectly inbetween my understated Honed/Blue GMT and my aggressive Polished/Copper Judge. love it!
Frame: Honed

i love my Blue GMT, it's an understated design but yet unmistakably Oakley... perfect for those days where the Polished/Copper Judge is inappropriate. the watch band is more comfortable than the Blade, the "Spinal Column" design works well, and follows the countours of your wrist. it's quite weighty, feels like a solidly built piece of equipment. the GMT has a bunch of useful functions, like a preset alarm and a one time use alarm, and of course the 24 different time zones. excellent watch.
Frame: Polished

The GMT is a good looking watch. I prefer the Timebomb, its an automatic and the GMT weights a ton. I do find it kind of hard to read the time for all of the different timezones.

A classic looking timepiece, and I can easily see why it's such a huge seller. Would love to have one.

Still not as impressed with this watch. I like the Detonator shape better. It's just this watch is so loved by the common people and they always gave me compliments. I still can't give it a 5. so a 4 should it be

What can be said other than this is the Best watch I have ever owned period!Always recieving comments, was shocked at it's wieght to start with, but now my wrist feels naked when it's off, which is never.

A fantastic watch. After I lost my Time Bomb (sent it to Oakley for crystal replacement, never to see it again), I thought the GMT was a great idea since it was something different, yet something that was still very solid and eye-catching. I love the sculpted band. I admit to not really use the GMT features, local time and alarm functions all that much. But it is still a great watch!
