The good thing is that they instantly put you in a good mood with the yellow dopish lens tint. Also they do enhance the contrast. And the weather looks a lot better than it really is.

But I'm missing an Iridium coating for the mirror effect. Everybody can see your eyes. In general I find it not dark enough when you look through it in bright sunlight. The yellow lens tint makes a very vibrant green of grass and bushes. But I find it a bit too distracting. Also a sunny blue sky gets yellow-greyish and most blue colors are not very good represented.

Have this in my Gold Crosshair 2.0. Gives the frame a very contemporary, classy look. Pretty good light transmission, but not my fav.

These are my favorite lenses. I have them in my half jackets and in my whisker wires. They're GREAT for providing contrast--especially on cloudy days. On sunny days, they keep things bright without you going blind. I love these! PERFECT lenses

I have bronze lens in my Hijinx Sunglass Hut edition. At first I really didnt like them, but I've come to respect them. Although they don't ENTIRELY hide your eyes, they are pretty close. I work as a lifeguuard and I can see the pool very easily in most any weather condition. They work well even when the sun is going down, i.e. they dont make things too dark.

I was very hesitant to buy bronze lenses in glasses. I wasn't a fan of brown tints to everything. After wearing them, they have become a favorite- under the right conditions. Bronze favors low light, ie overcast, dawn, dusk, etc. I wear them in the rain while driving and they make the world much easier to see. The increased contrast actually improves your vision. Even on bright days, due to increased light transmission, you will still squint, but your eyes will not be fatigued like the would be without protection.

Not much different of a view of the world than as through titanium (only a lot poorer looking). Titanium is far more pleasing of a look on the outside that silver mirror. This one is a bit old fashioned like the old brown vintage sunglasses kind of. Would not use it in intensely bright light either as it allows 22% light to the eye and has very high contrast.I would say definately a humble old Lens for overcast.

The base tint makes it very usefull in all kinds of lighting conditions. Personally I prefer this one when I'm not in the full open sun. The non-iridium makes it less flashy and therefor gives it more of a classic feel to it.

I think this is a great color option for frames that are black, brown, white, or the cream colors. They look really nice against those colors. I feel like when you look through these they are similar to gold.

I have this in a couple of different pairs and it is a lot like Gold Iridium to me. Nice and soothing and suits a large range of lighting conditions. Can't go wrong with this one. Non-iridium finish means it has a more subtle effect. Very nice.

Like all bronze-based tints, this is a great lens that blocks out just enough light and gives everything a nice warm hue. Since it does not have Iridium, it is good for times when you don't want the flashy mirrored look.

You cannot go wrong with this lens.
Makes everything bright and super sharp, but still soothing on the eye.
-
this is the cheaper "gold iridium" ; but a very nice vieuw when you look through it, misses the contrast that gold iridium has
-
A great combination with the Ti lens. Also, it makes a really nice MD frame color. Pretty subdue in the Oakley world, but a nice colored frame.
-
One of the best non-iridium lenses I've come across. Living in Seattle, I look forward to many great gray Gascan days!

This is actually a matte/satin finish on the E Wire 2.1, and it matches up quite nicely with the VR28 Polarized lenses.
-
Nice lens, similar to gold iridium but offers less contrast and less protection.
it would be better if this was a darker more protective lens as it offers a great view when looked through but would be too weak for strong sunglight.
-
I like this frame colour. It is different without being flashy. It goes well with Ti lenses, which is what it is usually paired with. Would also match Gold, VRx, Black, Grey, Slate and variants. Not good with Ice, Fire, or Ruby.

It is matte with speckles, so it is not like the metallic options but neither is it a flat colour.

These are in my mum's Monster Dogs and though they arn't Iridium, they're still a great lens from the O, and give a nice warm tone to vision.
