for the record, it was 2 of the double displays(and another but that wasn't included) for 1700. he had 2 double displays and was going to package/ship them both.
i since talked him down to 700 without shipping and am not even getting the double display cases because i am waiting to buy them from someone in arizona(preferably tucson). there was one member(because i spent a lot of time on this) that took me up on the offer and i hope he comes out and thanks me on the board...

okay...i am not responding to this again but this bashing is just out of control and frankly, im sick of it.
#1. i never knew it was bad to say congrats! how many times have people posted my auctions and said congrats? no...they tell me that i am wasting my money.
#2. for the record, i have ebay contact me everytime an oakley display is sold...you can have it set up in your e-bay preferences. if i thought someone would be bothered by this, i wouldnt have posted it.
#3. i clearly wrote to another member who i "will keep anonymous" about a double display(which i might add was only 700 USD which is a steal) because i thought he lived in kentucky. i confused "uk" with university kentucky because he was a university student.
err...this post irritates me. i try to be nice to everyone and it backfires. when people are a-holes, they like them more.
end of subject. don't expect a response on this topic again and you dont expect me to sell display stuff again. i was about to sell single and double displays today at NO PROFIT FOR ME but i wont even consider that now.
have a great weekend guys.

arizona is out of the hunt for oakley stuff on ebay for a while...good luck to everyone else!
p.s. you can make it so ebay e-mails you every time a certain item comes up. like say you are looking for oakley eye jackets, you can have them e-mail you every time one is listed and when it ends in 6 hours(that is the best way to get a great deal). whoops...i shouldnt be giving away my secrets:)

i think oakley makes different lengths...i could be wrong but the scottsdale store had waist 31 and either length 31 or length 32.
p.s. these are too nice to go swimming in:)

yes, i apologize. they do run small.
if you are gonna be wearing these on the beach, you should consider getting them a size smaller in the waist and longer length.
as for dann...i love those orange shorts(i remember that they are called rust). it is a good thing i live far from the oakley store because i would be broke if i went there a lot...

they're the best ever...very comfortable and decent material. i am going to wear these all summer.
you guys should definitely get the orange, red, and black. the blue is nice too!
you should try them on before you buy them...they run a little bit small.

i'll offer 2 dollars and 8 cents to show him how much i value this particular pair.

i was told that he got #00003 and #00004. he had one pair for himself and lost it in his car and the other pair he offered 1,000 dollars for.
i think he was lying too...he was actually an employee though so he may have got hooked up. i'll never know but it makes a good story.

how low of a serial number is good?
i have talked to people that have had 00003 and 00004 but that is really rare.
Is top 100 low? Top 1,000? You guys can start calling me X00753
p.s. More than even number, I rather have a unique serial number that they customized for someone(I have two very odd pairs-my copper penny's and my juliets that start with a w serial)...now that is when you know you better keep a pair even if you don't like them!

the style i just got is the dredge(very reasonably priced). i am normally a 32 waist but i ended up getting a 30 and 31.
as for too wide around the leg, i don't have that problem at all. perhaps you got them too big? i think you may want to get a smaller waist size(like a 30) and then keep the length a 31 or 32 that way they look good.
best buys i have ever made for oakley(this is from someone who said he would never buy anything oakley other than their sunglasses).

VERY GOOD QUESTION!
We discussed this earlier...if you ship outside the USA, make sure to send to Global Express Mail with USPS otherwise you can't insure it or track it. It is much more expensive but worth it.
Anyone else have advice?
