Those are outrageous asking prices, yet they pale in comparison to the megatower and doublewide that were on eBay a few weeks ago. The seller wanted a minimum bid of $5,000 for each with a BIN of $10,000. I believe shipping was extra.

Yeah, thats just insane. I recall a pair of yellow frogskins on the bay with a buy it now price of $6K or $7K, cant remember exactly. Im not that educated on frogskins and i appreciate that there are special pairs, but i mean, would anyone be willing to pay this amount i wonder.

It would have to be a very special pair with some serious history to ask that. A normal retail pair, no matter how uncommon, is just ridiculous.
