Too bad JJ's long gone. Would've liked to see how he'd handle this situation.

If you read the Tyler Hamilton Book "The Secret Race"
You will find that the Oakley Marketing rep named Stephanie McIlvain was present at the hospital when Lance was diagnosed with Cancer and witnessed Lance indcate to the doctors that he was taking all the performance enhancing drugs EPO, ect.
When it came to Stephanie testifing in court in 2005 if she heard Lance state this to the doctors. She chose to support Lance and continue the coverup. My understanding from other investigations I have seen in the last week on the matter that she was instructed by Oakley management not to make the brand look bad.
I wonder whome within Oakley asked her to Lie?

I still like my LA Pro-M-Frame with the Texas flag icons.
Yeah, the LA signature is on the lens, but the color combo is nice to me.
And I live in Texas, so I'm not dumping any LA-related parts of my collection just because of these recent revelations.
But I do see certain people starting to dump LA stuff.
If you see something you like, LA aside, might be a good time to load up.

About 8 WKS ago i read a statement saying Oakley would be ending their relationship with Lance, this came only days after Nike did the same. Their relationship with Livestrong will remain.

I think some sold recently on eBay under $150 NIB.
Mine doesn't even have the original box.
Prefer these FMJ frames over the polished blue on the LA foldable M-Frames.

That was my first thought, but I suppose they don't research eyewear for period pieces like they would clothing or cars.
