Irvine Spectrum was the first O-Store, but you need a pic of it as it was before it's conformist facelift.

It was like that the first two times I went out and then a year or two later it came down. I think the store was actually closed for sometime for a remodel. Whatever this was, it took up the outside of the store and had portions on the inside of the glass as well. It was massive and almost looked like it could move to close up the doorway. Now it's sitting outside HQ on a hillside.

By 2005/2006 the larger counter made it's way to the back and the store was a little brighter. It's that entrance that was killer though. It also had the equivalent of large x-metal coins placed into the floor to commemorate different models. Not sure if they are still there. I have more pics elsewhere, I'll see about getting them hosted and posted.

No, the floor is totally different. It's tiled.

Nice Dann!

Wish I still had original pics of the Hollywood O store. Had picks of a smokin' hot blond on the O couch - priceless!

Sadly - they have changed the O store design in Hollyweird. Still an awesome store though.

I spy with my little eye something that doesn't belong....

I wonder if they ever had to go back and re-wallpaper that timeline graphic wall. I remember when the US O-Stores had that graphic behind the cashwraps they had to change them for an edited one missing Mr. Air Jordans pic on it, was a big legal thing.

an O store in Afgan land! Wow, that is pretty freaking cool!!! I would be the easiest soldier to find on base with a store that close... Man when not out on duty everyone would know exactly were to find me, lol!!!

Bong is never wrong, just a bit dated. The Garden State Plaza store front is a bit different now, the walls by the windows are gone and the signage is now the same as Bridgewater

I really like the design of the Irvine store. Great entrance!
Too bad it's in bits and pieces behind the factory in the cafeteria/pump track area. Or last I saw it that's where it was. They went to that vanilla "Banana Republic" look in the stores and the exotic industrial front all got torn out and basically scrapped for the lack of a better word...

Haha... sorry, fixed now. It was confusing me too.

As Jose said, I ain't wrong, just outdated! These are photos of O-Stores and O-Vaults when I first visited them. I'm sure many of them look different now. As mentioned, Irvine Spectrum looks totally different, with the old storefront facade now residing at HQ's dirt track. I haven't visited Paramus in probably years... SoHo as well since I moved away from NYC. The nearest O-Store from me now is Bridgewater, which was the last new (to me) O-Store I visited.

Whoever has that 'vintage' Hollywood store signage in his collection should be crowned King of Oakley Collectors!
