.... Has anyone got or knows about the oakley reps metal briefcase ?..it looks like a vault briefcase and can hold 9-13(can't remember the amount of foam cutouts) pairs of sunglasses on one side and i think 4 pairs of goggles on the other. What sort of value would something like that have today?.....

Just watch ebay and see what they are selling for. That's the only real way to know.

I think you're dead-on for the name. If I were to either post or search for one, I'd name it so. Oakley Metal Rep Briefcase.

I just found a site that listed it as such, but aluminum as opposed to metal. It said that one sold on eBay in April of this year for $1009. I'd say that'd be about right, and it'd be a steal for less.

I've found if you use 'Oakley Briefcase', that works.

I got one for $475..maybe 7 years ago. I have seen them go for much higher...but would guess they should go for $600-800 range. They are painfully expensive little things...and i am glad I got over that hurdle a long time ago.

I hate those stories...especially if they are the ones where sporting goods stores," were throwing them out behind the store in a dumpster"!!! What??

But my oakley addiction, such that it is, sometimes has no limits when I am on the hunt.

If that is EXACTLY the one in the photo, you're being scammed. :D (Because that's mine, and I'm not selling it.)

I've got a question for all the OAKLEY faithful... I bought a couple pairs of MPH Bottlecap's from SAP, a Polished White w/Grey for the wife and a Crystal Black w/Grey for me! When I opened the package today my set was as stated but my wife's had "Ruby" lenses on them!!! Anyone else had this happen to them. I saw an ebay auction with the exact combo for sale. (300472391988) The description shows grey lenses but clearly are "Ruby". Let me know what you think "O" bros!!!

I love how SAP has a sale on Oakleys, and they're all "limit 3," and then a couple days later, there are 3 on eBay for $20-50 more than they were to begin with. The very definition of a scalper. Bottom feeders, all of them.

Sounds like you made out well on a SAC deal, Rich. What's more, that Bottlecap deal on SAC shows the white frame as white/grey - but I swear the pics seem to show an amber lens on the white frame. If you are feeling slightly insane or if your wife was really keen on the grey (or non-iridium lens), shoot me a PM and we can do a swap. I think I have both grey and amber around the house.

Thanks Paul, but my wife loves the look of them. Can't say I blame her as they look sweet. Thanks for the info!!!
