I know the CF version has free lens replacements for life. My bet is the rep is confused. My gut says you send in the frames and they cut new lenses for them ws needed.
FYI, the boys at the West Edmonton Mall O Store said they're getting a pair of the CF C6 in next week or the week after. Give them a shout if you're interested in having a look.
Good to know the numbers are still low... it hasn't even reached the hundreds yet grab yours guys! hey oak, since you got a c six also, do you know what the 12.0107 on it means?
The numbers are still low but there're some SNs out there over 100. They're just randomly distributed, though I doubt the higher numbered ones have been assembled yet.

I think this also explains why they chose the name CSix
I had a little prodding so here's my input on the c six.
The C6 was kind of underwhelming. Up close, when I got to study it, it was a pretty amazing piece of sculpture, but even when it's just sitting in the display case, it doesn't really say much.
I like the carbon fibre to look at. The way it's milled, while not great for strength, does give it a nice appearance. However, in handling the two, I much prefer the aluminum version. It has a much better contrast between the segments, which shows off the design better (in my opinion)
If the two were the same price, I would go with the aluminum version. If the C6 was the same price as the pit boss, I would go with the pit boss. (If they were all the same price as the pit boss, I would probably end up with one of each , ha!)
I don't know. I guess I was hoping that Oakley would have done more with the C6 for that kind of pricetag. I can see that it's a nice piece, and I understand the rules of diminishing returns when it comes to high end pieces, but this was a lot.
Well put and thanks for the input, Mike. For those who won't have a chance to see the product for themselves, informative reviews such as this is invaluable.
Those crazy friendly canadian o-store staff. I can not imagine a crazy mohawk kilt-wearing guy walking into a store and getting away with wearing 3 pairs retailing at $6100usd atop his head like that. You'd get tackled before you made it through the parking lot in the u s of a.
LOL, great pic. Makes me wonder if stacking eyewear for a photo is a truly o-review generated phenominon??
Well, the top pair was my own , so it wasn't quite as bad.......
... except for the fact that I was wearing their time bomb 2 on my wrist as well!
The staff in the pop-up o-store were some of the best I have EVER met. They were all very friendly and accomodating. If they didn't know an answer to a question, they'd call someone else over instead of just giving up or making something up. It was really nice. I wish it didn't have to get torn down.
Also, the amount of elite stuff there was insane. Absolutely insane.
