We just need ONE member to get it

Then, peer pressure, envy, ego & jealousy will come into play

Next thing u know there'll be a "FULL CF C6" CLUB!!

Where is that c Six pic? I must be blind...I am lost in all this oakley goodness.

..and where the heck is my aluminum C Six Toronto oakley store?...that I hope to get when you give it to me free of charge.
Interesting how Montreal got it but not Toronto...that's okay.

Edmonton said they sent a pair of Aluminum C Sixes to TO just before the holidays, apparently because they didn't sell to expectations. Which is incredibly odd since they sold 3 out of the 4 they received.

Yeah that's a head-scratcher! Not a bad pace I find...

The good news is: Revolution will get to buy them!

Could be a few reasons...

1) Montreal's almost 3 times the size of Toronto (O-Store)

2) Montreal is a Canadian O-Store i.e. ran by Oakley Canada - that is not the case of Toronto O-Store, Vaughn Mills Vault & the O-Store's in Western Canada

The reason why I point this out is that Montreal is by far the largest of the 3 found in Quebec (the other 2 are in a mall)

No offense, but you'll agree with me that there are quite a few more prestigious locations in the US, so Toronto didn't make the cut I guess :S

But for the record, it is a great store with great staff!!

3) C6 really was distributed to a few O-Store locations, and they picked the most "exotic" of each country (totally guessing here)

I've always figured the Montreal O Store was the flagship for Canada. Anything good will always end up there first, since they seem like they put up great sales numbers.

Agreed completely. They're a model of what an O Store should be.

Thanks for the info guys. I did not know about the details of Montreal's O-store.
I must take a trip to Montreal O-store now.

I just called the Toronto O-store. They said they did not get any C Six's in, and do not expect to get any.
Oakley.ca has always said "coming soon"
How does one get a pair of these?

It could be the C Six Alum could've been purchased already. I thought it was wierd they were shipping it off during X-mas week, so it might have already gone to someone.

You could always head to the Vancouver Olympics to get one. They're having them there.

IIRC, all 3 Montreal area stores should be getting it in one form or another.

Other than that, I'm sure the availability will be more widespread either this year or the next.

Oakley trains their employee's that the target customer for the C6 is "A guy that doesn't blink at spending $300,000 on a sports car". I'm not sure how any of you guys stand financially but if this quote describes any of you, then please buy a pair so we can get some real feedback. First impression feedback is cool but it would be nice with some ownership feedback.

You'd definitely need someone who'd think $4k for sunglasses is a drop in the bucket for, in your words, the "real" feedback you're describing. Most everyone else would say it's the best thing in the world even if they didn't believe it, since there's gotta be some justification for putting down that much for sunglasses.

Nik and I have made it a plan to attempt to purchase at least the aluminum C6 this summer. I was actually hoping to get the CF version...but my sales have been a lot slower than I had hopped this month. Unless traffic at the store picks up immensely over the next three months, I'm going to have to settle for the alum. version.

Here's hoping they fit...

That'd be kind of...well...not good if they didn't have any.
I'd seriously doubt that prospect.

I'm going to have to settle for the alum. version
Trust me, you won't be settling at all; both have their advantages. Unless you're a big carbon fiber fan or just prefer black frames, you'll likely enjoy the Aluminum version more.

As far as replacement lenses, I was told you can get both lenses for both versions, but you won't be seeing any colour other than Tungsten and grey. Both versions are pretty expensive, though. As far as the lenses you have, it's a lifetime warranty apparently.
