Well that's a first. Trying on a pair hoping they don't fit. I totally understand though. Frogs worked out the same way for me.

I would love to try those freakishly expensive glasses on but I can't find them anywhere.

Come to Edmonton - they sold the one pair and said they would be getting a second pair in.

Certainly not before March though

First sold in Canada was Montreal
Two people are on a waiting list now

The next 2 pairs to cross the border are strictly for the Olympics

Comingback to the actual question...

I have tried C6 & it is breathtaking

So much work
So much detail
So light
So refined

So prestigious

So OAKLEY

I really wish I could afford it

Cuz next to C6 an X-Metal looks basic!

I know the style doesn't get all your votes
But Im sure anybody here can appreciate te amount of work, research & nitro matter that was put into this project

Don't get me wrong I still love X-Metals
But this is a new era - a few levels higher

I've always been curious as to who's the first person in Canada to buy the one in Montreal. They should've done up an article on oakley.ca like they did on oakley.com

Willing to bet I'll be the first one in KS... But then again - that's not really a challenge.

True - the ones they sold were the C Six Aluminum and they said they would be getting another of those. I doubt we will see the C Six in this neck of the woods.

You should have more faith. While the Alum C6 is limited to only 25 O Stores and the CF C6 is limited to only about a dozen right now, I'm sure distribution will increase in the next year or so. 1500 pairs for one model and 250 for another model is quite a lot, even if it is for the entire world. Once hype dies down and demand follow, I'm confident you'll be seeing the C6 in more locations.

I'm actually hoping they sell out. It'd give them incentive to do a second CF Elite model.

Apparantly 125 C6's have been assigned to the U.S market.
6 to Australia and the rest to the world.

At least 7 international O Stores are getting them initially. Montreal, Tokyo, London, Sao Paulo, Berlin, Dubai, and Australia.

I will be in sydney next week so I may get a chance to have a look at them... unless a bag of money appears before my feet while I am in Sydney I highly doubt I will be even considering buying them.

I would love to hear the feedback of those who've seen both the Alum and full CF versions.

...here's a thought.... ANYONE on this forum would have a pair IF they were a resonable amouunt ($2000 for instance!!)but i don't know about you guys but my PIT'S feel more expensive than the c6's when their on my head go figure!! ;)....

I think anyone on the board would have a pair if they wanted it, no matter the price. When you think about it, $1.5k or $4k isn't all that much compared to what many spend on their collections to date.

Personally I think CF feels more expensive than Polycarb+Nylon aka O Matter - maybe that's just me

I haven't tried on a pair yet, but i did order a pair of the aluminums from my optometrist dealer. She said her O rep quoted her about a month delay. I'm hoping to get em by middle of Feb. and i promise this will be my last pair of sunglasses..at least thats what i told the wifey

Congrats on the future purchase, very cool.

Yeah, it would be great to see, hold, try both C6 versions. But part of me would likely regreat it, as it would just be a major scratch of that itch. I'd probably be better off just enjoying vicariously through y'all.
