They really got inspired by Jamie Fox here.
Nice ones. I wish Oakley did more official releases with comics movies.
I wouldn't mind adding a Gascan to my collection if it had a nice Blade two laser etching on it :)

See, I’d be reading more comics if there were stories like this:

I've never bought a Toms product, but they are doing a collab with Marvel. I'm told this is the second drop:

https://www.toms.com/marvel

There's even eyewear. The one below is Iron Man, and there's a Black Widow one, too:

I don't think there's anything that interests me, but it's certainly an interesting collab that I wouldn't have expected to come together.

Valiant Comics (or Valiant Entertainment as they're known these days) were a big thing in the '90s and came up with many slick gimmick covers, including chromium covers. They went bankrupt for a bit after being bought out by video game company Acclaim, but have been back for almost 10 years now and have introduced several new types of gimmicks.

One of the coolest is a cover made out of carbon fiber:

I had won one recently by auction but the seller cancelled the order, probably because the price I won it at was so low compared to market value. Oh well, I'll get one eventually.

Hate when sellers do that. I'd definitely have bought a cover like that back in the day, even if I had no idea what the comic was about.

Sorry they did that to you Oak.

Carbon Fiber cover - that's cool for sure!

By the way Bloodshot on these books look nothing like Vin Diesel. Ha Ha!

Nice! Excalibur is underrated.

On another note, comic collecting prices are exploding all over the place. It seems common that a $0.50 bargain bin copy one week turns into a $20+ investment the next just because of speculation on TV/movie appearances. Crazy stuff the amount of speculation that’s happening.

Those that have a good run of the X-men and Fantastic Four (up to the end of the ‘90s) will probably do just fine over the next few years.

Glad I picked up the first deadpool title when I grabbed the first 100 X Force issues for a buck a piece.

As I've mentioned above, comic book collecting is jumping left and right. Associated collectibles (such as the original art) is popping, too. One of the odder collectibles I'm shocked is selling so well are t-shirts, especially those from the '90s. I don't understand why some of them are selling for $500+, but it's a regular occurrence over the last several years:

I remember these "All Over" tees. Surprising they're so in demand:

WOW, thanks for sharing this. I have a lot of these "all over" print shirts in storage that I need to go find now. Unbelievable prices.

The world’s largest comic book is coming out. From the Attack on Titan manga, it’ll be 3.3 feet in length, 2.25 feet in width, and weighs a hefty 30 pounds! It’ll be about $1,400 and be limited to 100 copies:

I bought the big HR Giger SUMO one, with Giger Estate Signature, Carmen Giger.

Their books are amazing.
