i was speaking to the owner of my local OPD and he had a few things he offered me that were not open for general sale, im just after some advice on whether they are worth getting and photos?
the first is a PRO M frame in gold, the dealer said they were only issued to oakley sponsored athletes to wear at the sydney olympics. anyone got a pic. he has no lense just the frame.
the second is a rusty wallace limited edition timebomb MINT in box, signed on reverse. dealer said one of only 100 sets worldwide
third is a eddie jordan timebomb set MINT in boxset
finally, a D1 watch worn by robert millar in the tour de france 2004 when he rode for cofidis, its signed on the front over the face, comes with all the POS, apparently only 20 were made in this colourway and issued to the team for the tour only. he also has a gold timebomb.of course i cant afford them all, so just wondering what to go for?

crap find the money and buy it all.....

seriously though what sort of dollars are you talking.
Both Timebombs are gem finds so if the price is reasonable it would be a great score.

As for the M-frames you can always get a lens, the frames are the rare factor here - get them.

as for the D1.... well you decide, not much to get really get excited about with a D1, other than it's limited status.

mike-for sure, he is willing to let the eddie jordan go for original retail approx £1500 GBP
the pro m frame i like the sound of, but cant find a pic of it, but thats a sale already in my mind.
the D1, sure its only a D1, but a rare limited run if money is right is worth getting i think?
other than the eddie jordan, no idea on money yet as we havnt talked that far!

Yes, you should get the Gold M Frame. There were pics when the the Tour de France thread was going, but of course those got wiped out.

Yeah, I've seen a pair of the gold M frames, pretty sweet. Like others said, i don't know how excited I can get over a D1. The gold timebomb is the ultimate exclusive piece, but it's gonna cost you a TON. The other timebombs are sweet, and yes i believe only a 100 of each were made, come in a special vault, etc...but I think you might be able to find one of those for less than retail if you keep an eye on ebay, etc...

he has also got some FMJ Red- a sports marketing exclusive which he has held onto....anyone got or heard of these specific ones?

I have seen the gold M-Frame from Sven Kramer in real live. It is nog really shiny gold, unless with the right lightning conditions.

If you don't want that one, you can always tell me the price XD

Always loved his team in F1 and him as a team owner. The problem is that it is so nice you would no want to wear it at all.

finally got an email pic of the gold pro m frame from the OPD who has offered it to me. comparing to the pics on this thread it looks more electric yellow than the gold, but it could just be his pic quality, but it does have the black o's and black earsocks. hes offered it to me for £150 GBP-any thoughts from anyone?

Get better quality pics. £150 GBP for any O matter Oakley is pretty expensive nowadays, what with prices dropping on most models on the secondary market. You can post the pics on here to try and solicit opinions as well.

You could either post it in your gallery or on a image sharing site like Photobucket and link it here.

Jup, just upload it somewhere, and put the link that ends on .jpg between img tags:

Oh, and what you say about the electric mustard. In real live it wasn't really that shiny gold, when you saw them while having them in your hands. But from a little distance it looks like a more shiny gold.
