I usually try to add a new pair whenever I travel somewhere. It's become a bit of a ritual to help make the trip, and the frame feel more special.

London Police - Hong Kong
Whiskey MD's - Orlando Universal Studios
Five 3.0s' (both ducati and crystal blue) - Las Vegas Motor Speedway top fuel drag racing event. From oakley trailer.
Pearl MD's - Regina (sweet)
Clear Frogskins - Harajuku Oakley store, Tokyo.
Black fives - Calgary
emerald minutes - Pearson airport Toronto, during connection.
Will Barras Montefrios - Gift from mommy. :) Trip to vegas for superbowl weekend.

Rick's collection is one of my favourites because they came from trips from all over the world.

Not so much into buying glasses on each trip, but I HAVE to buy something.

SoHo O Store: Waterman Jacket, Golf Glove, Dopp Kitt 2.0
Ellenton, FL Vault: Polo, Dopp Kit 2.0 (for the wife), board shorts
Tulsa, OK O Store: Soft watch vault, Luggage tags

Yeah, my first 30 or so pairs were from all over the world. A few "International" purchases since, but of my 30 initial pairs, I would say 4 were purchased in Canada.

Auckland, Sydney, Brisbane, Manley, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Honolulu, Maui, Seattle, LA, Spokane (love that town!), San Antonio, Chicago, Seoul, Tokyo, Beijing, ...a few more I can't think of.

My favorite pair bought during travel was my Ruby Juliet from a surf store in Manley, AUS. They charged me the same price as the other Juliets and I got my tax back at the airport. Those lil' rippas!

I like being able to tell a bit of the extra story that goes along with it. Also, I find that other cities seem to have more exciting frames on display then we ever get here in winnipeg.
I'm jealous of your lineup Rick. Nevermind the O side of it, just the trip resume. Wow.. I thought I was doing well.

It is too bad that we don't have somewhere here in Winnipeg that has a massive display of oakley products. There are a few places that have decent stuff, but selection is limited. A local law enforcement supply store that we get our gear from has a good selection of glasses, a couple watches, some tees and a few bags, and pretty good proces too!

Thanks. My wife and I spent the last dozen years teaching overseas. Lots of travel opportunities = lots of Oakley purchasing opportunities.

Woody, I'll pm you about a store that I have a bit of a special relationship with. He's having trouble getting limited frames, but for everything else, I get wicked prices on. I think it may be better then CSS.

Rick, I spent a good chunk of my girlfriend trying to convince her that we should move to Hong Kong. She was born there and has dual citizeship, but she's also in the middle of her masters here. She doesn't see it as a potential move forwards, where I'm perfectly content with just having some fun. Oh well.

I too don't go anywhere. Although if I spent less on Oakleys I could certainly change that....
