Uncharted 4 Libertalia Collector’s Edition. Decidedly "meh":

Anyone getting the new Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain? I’m just awaiting the delivery of my Collector’s Edition in a couple days. After seeing real life pics of the 1:2 scale bionic arm, I know I’m gonna regret not springing for the Japan-exclusive “Premium Package” with the 1:1 arm. Japan gets the coolest things.

That 1:1 is pretty awesome. The 1:2 isn't bad though.

Nice one !

I've been playing Batman Arkham Knight for a few days since my friends offered me the PS4 + Batman AK for my birthday.

That game is fantastic ! I'm seriously starting to feel the sleep deprivation, though ^_^

That is cool, I'm a mame fan. Even have a few scores on twingalaxies.

Have any of you funded a kickstarter? I am always hesitant because there are soo many projects that exceed their goals and end up never delivering their promise.

Cool.

Back in the 80's I had a few top scores on some pinball machines. They have all been knocked down. Still in the top 3 on one, I think.

Nice. Yea it was a few years ago for me. I watched the king of kong and wanted to get a walter day signed certificate before he retired. I ended up in the 2013 guiness gamers edition and I had no idea until someone else I know online posted a scan of his name in the book and I saw mine also. It was something I never expected.

After 6 months on pre-order, I finally got the Mega Man helmet. Kinda cheaply made for the price, but it's official and it's Mega Man, so I'm not complaining:

Anyone looking to get Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR or any of the other higher end VR stuff? I'll probably wait until the 2nd gen to pick one up since I am sceptical about how well it'll work, but the idea seems interesting.

Yeah, I've been waiting since the 90's when movies made it seem right around the corner, so needless to say I'm long overdue. Definitely going with the HTC Vive over the Oculus despite being interested in that first. The Vive includes everything while the Rift will charge for the controllers and room system, undoubtedly ending up with a higher price.

The big thing will be getting a new computer up to spec. I don't know if I'll wait until a gen 2 as that will be a few more years, but I might wait for the first round of price drops. I think they will be fairly solid out of the gate. User reviews have been saying it's night and day from the DevKit 1 to the pre-release models kicking around now. The gaps between pixels have finally gotten to the point where you can't really notice them, and the motion sickness also doesn't seem to be a problem.

The Vive is a fantastic choice. The most advance VR headset technology plus great looking hardware.
