I want to get a watch, but not sure which one. My wrist is small 6.5-7" in diameter and 2" across the top where a watch would sit. I like the GMT, but haven't had a chance to hunt down anything in person. Which ones are the smaller lines?

Pretty much everything that Oakley makes will work for your wrist, EXCEPT the Time Tank. I have a 6" wrist myself, and can sport the Judge and GMT just fine...and I'm not just saying that because I don't care what other people think, it really does look fine. The Time Tank on the other hand looked ridiculously huge on me, even though it actually fits very well. The Time Bomb is a toss up, while I can get it to fit and look fine on me, it definitely overshoots my wrist height-wise because of how the links don't curve much at the lugs. The unobtanium grips on the underside never even get to touch my wrist. It's also pretty difficult to dial in a really comfortable fit because my wrist doesn't completely fill up the bracelet, rather it's just the watch caseback and clasp gripping my wrist. I love the way it looks way too much though and still continue to wear it as a weekend watch. Just keep in mind the Judge/GMT are EXTREMELY heavy, and with a thin wrist, you're going to seriously feel the weight. They both push 200+ grams, whereas the average stainless steel watch (like what Seiko makes) weighs around 100-120 grams.

Hey Charles.. I was in the same predicament as you not long ago, with Oakley watches just being too big for me. I know the whole oversized thing is in, but I never appreciated that esthetic much. Also I like to wear my watches fairly snug and so finding something with the right size dial is important. Well, surprisingly it was a Honed/Gunmetal Jury I settled on and I must say I am very pleased with it overall. I know it's listed as a Women’s model, but honestly I think given it's dimensions, most guys could pull it off especially those of us with wrists that aren't as think as two by fours. It may be a line to consider.. also something like a Crush 2.o or even the 2.5 maybe models to consider.

The GMT is great, I'm getting one soon myself, and there's every chance you'll be able to pull it off. What's truly amazing about those watches IMO is the solid build, weight(which I never found to be too heavy) and the "spinal cord" bracelet.. very comfortable and looks killer!

Good luck!

Another vote for the Judge. Get it and you'll be happy. That I am sure of. If not, sell it to me cheap and I will be happy. :)

Well thanks! The judge and the GMT were the two I was eyeing along with the blade II. Unfortunatly I have a new position at work where the look of responsibility could help. I've gone 35 years with out a watch, but I guess it's time to get one. I want to stay with Oakley for sure, I just have to hunt some down. I live north of houston so I have to plan my trips and will call around first to see who has what.

Charles.. not sure if you already got yourself that new watch, but I just recently got a GMT(Honed/Blue Dial) myself and I can tell you, it's BIG and HEAVY. Not that either of those are a bad thing, just that I was a little surprised at just how "Loud" this watch is, compared to the Jury. It will take a little while to get used to.. still almost impossbile to fault it, really..

Well, I could not resist the calling of the opening of the Vault at Katymills mall any longer. I went, and to my sadness, the blade II and Judge are both too big. The are wider than the top of my wrist... So pulling the bands straight down they cant get enough negative angle to go around my stupid wrist right. I don't know what I'm going to get...

I wanted Santa to bring me one, and look, I got it...Although not exactly the one I wanted, I do like this one quite a bit...Had to customize though. Started with my old Black Leather/Black Faced Tank, and the new Silver/Black faced with Ti bracelet, and swapped the bands across. Now you have 2 hot looking watches!!

You just can't leave anything alone, can you? Nice watches Josh. I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on one of those Red ones they got, but I'll wait to see what Santa has up his sleeve first....

thanks man, I was wanting to do this for a while, I just didn't have the pieces in place. Really like the swap since the silver faced has the black accents, and the black leather helps bring them out. The all black with Ti is just hot in my opinion and was a must do since I don't like the black with silver dials
