Anyone actually had a chance to compare G30 Polarized with Shallow Blue Polarized lenses side by side - any thoughts or comments appreciated.

Also, does anyone know the specifications on G30 Polarized - I can't find them on the Oakley website anywhere...

And while I'm here, anyone know for sure what the base tint is on the Shallow Blue Polarized lenses - I'm guessing its either bronze or VR28, but that's a guess.

Actually, with my radars I was thinking there should be something more secure than the original adhesive - I was a little suprised when the icon came loose on my radars. What brand/type of double side tape has worked for you??

Last thing I would want to do is to lose an icon and not realise its dropped off.

And now that I've realised how easy the icons are to remove I'm starting to get ideas of swapping them around...

Any suggestions... anyone....

Guys - any ideas on what to use ro reglue some icons. I have a pair of Radars where one icon has come loose. Also I've got a pair of Titanium Square Wire 2.0s I might polish up but only if I can be sure that I can securely reglue to icons to the frame after I finish the polish...

Anybody got any experience of advise on what to use???

The pins are spring loaded - if you look at the inside of the watchband, you should be able to see the spring loaded pins.

I like how they look. Kind of like a Nanowire and an Oil Rig had a baby.

Actually, thought they also look a bit like Felons...

Had a friend who asked me to track down a cheap pair of Gascans. After hunting around, I am absolutely dismayed with the amount of fake Gascans on eBay. Worse still a lot of them are good enough to fool most people.

I am 90% sure that these are fake based on the chrome colour icons (not Gunmetal which is the correct color for 03-471) and the reply card not being folded length wise.

And if you look around on eBay there are a whole lot of these 03-471 Gascan with chrome icons.

Am I totally off the mark in thinking that these are fake - cause if not, it would seem some factory (probably in China) is punching these out by the crap load...

The report fakes page comes up, but when you submit the data it comes back with an 'Internal Server Error'

Have you actually got it to work when actually trying to send information??

Anyways, given that the o website lists these Gascan lens separately from Asian Fit Gascan lenses, I take it the lenses shapes are different.

Anyone know how big the difference is?? And if its absolutely impossible to us the lenses interchangeably??

Not really a proper setup, just how I got my collection of Oakley Titanium Square Wire 2.0s arranged mainly for convenience - all I got to do is grab my other stuff and choose a pair on my way out of the house.

Figured I'd take a photo before offloading a few of these (don't think I'm ever going to have as many of the same model of Oakley ever again)...
