I'm sure everyone who's had a passing interest in Matt Reeves' The Batman would have already seen the costume, but here it is for those who haven't. The cowl has a huge Adam West Batman nod to it. I don't think it's much of a crowd-pleaser, but I'll bet there will be more than one version of the costume in the movie (with the cooler looking one being held back for trailers):

And the motorcycle....LOL.

I think they kind of took the gun in the chest symbol from the Kevin Smith story in Detective Comics 1000.
Note sure about this look.

I suspect it's the prototype suit before building the one for the movie's climax. You know, the one that'll give him Hulk Hogan-level invulnerability. A closeup of the cowl with the Adam West "forehead arch" stitching:

The new Batmobile has a muscle car flair to it. It's not what I think of when I think "Batmobile", but I like it:

I caught the Netflix original movie Extraction this weekend. Generic story with little meat to it, but the action and camera work was fantastic. Highly recommended. I see the movie got some Matsuda sunglasses into it as well (I think it's the M3040). Very cool seeing Matsuda on screen once again in a high profile movie.

I hear it's based on a comic book called Ciudad from Oni Press. I've also heard they changed almost everything about it from the locations to the characters.

Things that made you go "huh?" today include Stallone saying Demolition Man 2 is being considered and planned:

I don't think the general audience is demanding a sequel 30 years later, but hey, hopefully there may be a slim chance Oakley will appear in it.

Well with the lack of toilet paper, we need to learn how to use the 3 shells.

I liked the first part (Seige). Looking forward to part 2, Earthrise, next week. I like how they made Megatron more of a sympathetic villain (at least to start off with).

Wow! I don't exactly have high hopes for Godzilla vs. Kong being a great movie, but the concept is so cool and seeing King Kong fight Godzilla is awesome. The new trailer is crazy:

That does look good Oak. I'm interested as to how they explain why Godzilla is now a threat when he was the hero previously. It seems like it might be more than just a battle of the last two standing.

My hopes aren’t high for this one after king of the monsters, but I’ll see it regardless

Watched Black Widow from home today using Disney+. I've always preached day-one home release is the future of movies (I hate going to the movie theatres these days). COVID sped things up and we're enjoying day-one home releases now, but there's no doubt the option will be removed once everything goes back to normal; the movie business model doesn't support something like this right now. Hopefully sooner rather than later it'll become the norm.

As for the movie itself, many first impressions from fans say it's not the MCU's best work, but I enjoyed it immensely. I enjoyed the action and the character development. There was one specific character I didn't like what they did with them and there were a couple scenes where I went "WTF", but overall I loved it. Highly recommended!

The John Wick 4 teaser is insane:

As much as I like JW, I hope the series closes off so that Keanu can work on BRZRKR. The BRZRKR comic is pretty cool, so it can definitely turn into another great live action franchise.

I just read that there will be a new Daredevil series! I'm excited and scared at the same time.
The netflix one was very good. I wonder if Disney will be able to keep it as good.

Supposedly 18 episodes long for Daredevil: Born Again. I'm assuming that's 3 seasons total with 6 episodes per season. That's a hard story to adapt since they pressure's so high. $100 says Karen Page won't be a pornstar that's addicted to heroin.
