Do you folks find that the description on the Oakley site of what should fit in the vaults to be accurate. I was about to buy a Small Soft Vault for my wife's Five 3.0 the other day, to be safe I tried fitting a pair of the 3.0 they had on display in the case. To my surprise, they did not fit very well. It seemed very tight and it took more effort than it should to get the zipper closed. I'm not sure if I didn't have the glasses seated properly or what, I was in a bit of a hurry. I'm not sure if I should get the Medium or Large case instead. Has anyone else had issues like this with the vaults/cases?

Yes I had the very same issue with the Fives 3.0.

I know my "Large Watch Soft Vault" says a judge fits, but it is super tight, and I can see the zipper tearing loose soon. Most of my large softies for x metal also barely fit...

For the most part, the descriptions are junk and not 100% accurate...I just go to the stores now and try them out...

I bought an X-Metal Soft Vault for my Romeo 1. These ones didn't fit in :-\

Thats what I was afraid of. I can't find anywhere here that has a decent variety of case to try either. The local SGH has the soft ones on occasion?

Maybe you guys can help me out?

What is the best cases for the Whisker, Eye Jacket 2.0 and Fives 3.0? I could probably get the medium for the 3.0, since wifey keeps them in here purse.

I've got the large metal vaults for my Monster Dogs and Straight Jackets and they seem to fit just right.

EJ 2.0 will fit in:
Large Soft Vault
Large Metal Vault
thought it has to go in facing upwards.

It will not fit in the Medium Soft Vault.

For Whisker, I use either Medium Soft Vault, Large Metal Vault, or Large Soft Vault.

For EJ2.0, I use X-Metal Soft Vault. I know it will fit in the others mentioned above, but I just hate feeling like I'm cramming them into a case.

For Fives 3.0, I use Large Soft Vault or Large Metal Vault. Medium Soft Vault would work, too.

Whisker does actually fit in small soft vault. Only just, so medium is probably the better option there.

Glad to know that it isn't just me who has problems with the X Metal case. I have one for my Juliets and, even though I'm very careful about how they sit when I put them in, the zip is chewing up the case badly despite only being six months old. I'm thinking about checking to see what Oakley will do about it but as the case was bought on ebay and is more than 28 days old I think that they'll tell me to take a running jump.

Anyone know if they would fit in the small torpedo vault?

I had the same problem when looking for a case for my Crosshairs. The Medium Soft Vault fit, but was too big. I ended up getting a similar case from SGH, but it was cheaper and fit better. For the glasses, stay Oakley. For the case, a third party might be better.

Oddly enough the SGH ballistic nylon cases are shaped just right to fit most Oakleys and they are even a bit harder.

IMO - I have found that most O Shades have a preferred fit - IE you can't just stuff them in any way but if you play with it a bit - you will find an ideal fit in the case.

Do the OCP Flak Jackets and Radars come with cases like the non OCP ones do?

I didn't have this problem with my A-Wires and small soft vault. It's not too tight and not too loose either.
