Folks - seriously thinking of buying some shoes off ebay - but before I do, can anyone tell me how Oakley shoe sizes compare to Nike - that is - are they pretty much the same, or half a size larger or smaller.

In my experience with Oakley Boots - I had to go 1/2 size larger.

The same thing goes for shoes too from my experience, always half a size larger.

sandals are smaller compared to last year, if you are a regular 10, go for 11

I read that the Humidors run big and that you should actually go down 1 full size when buying them...can anyone confirm or deny this?

I would deny that - have always had to buy Humidors a 1/2 to full size bigger....

I would say it's always been what you have been used to buying...but that is screwed as well depending on the brand.

I just bought a pair of Ecco dress shoes for the office that were perfect at an 11... but my last 20 pair of O have varied a lot between 11 and 12.

The no-tie are a bit different as you want them a bit tight.... Up to the individual I suppose...

Anybody want to give me a comparison between Oakley shoes/boots and Timberland boots/shoes? All I wear these days is Timberland (mainly because I can try them on in the shop and then buy them online from the USA and pay 50% as much as in the shop), I'd love to get some Oakley shoes/boots but it only makes sense if I can be sure of the size!

My humidors are actually a 12.5 (the pairs that fits me the best - I can get away with a 12 if I wear thin socks) and I usually wear an 12 in pretty much every other brand.

But on the other hand, most of the Oakley Sandals that I have are 12s.

Go figure
