Hey guys,
I have been away from the board for awhile, so I apologize if this topic has already been discussed, but does anyone know anything about the new 2007 X-Metal?

I thought it was mentioned on here before. I'm not sure if it was a rumor or someone had actual info on it.

Ugh. Its amazing how quickly threads become off-topic.

RUBY RUBY!

Anyways, is it known that its going to be released in 2007? I was thinking that when JJ said that thing about inspiring us harcores by the end of this year, that he was talking about the new x-metal coming out this year.

I dont think he was talking about the new x-metal I think he might have been referring to the brand as a whole, that we would see great things soon.

Not that theres not been anything great lately, just more normal and less crazy, less OTT in design.

Guess we will have to wait and see.

I second that Cal. It looks like an X-Metal Zero.

That probably turned out to be the Mars, does look like someone was coming up with an x-metal subzero

Diego, it wont be that one.

And its kind of normal that this thread wont go anywhere; its still early to get details and those who know something cannot talk about it.

In time, patience is a virtue.

That sketch looks badass by the way.

Awesome sketch Cal. Looks like a wire/x-metal to me. Hopefully the new one looks just as good as that.

If the new X-metal turns out to be what I heard it's suppose to be, then it will be very popular amongst OR collectors. R2 popular but not quite Juliet popular. Basically, a big cult following but won't hit legendary status.

The new X-Metal will be part of the '07 line up.

Wait a sec, I thought there are at least 2 new X metals coming out.

By the way, the sketch looks wicked but it seems to suggest a move towards a half rim kinda design. I really hope that the new one is a full rimmed version.

The important question will be whether the variety of lens and frame colors are as varied as the Juliets. I hope the price doesn't top the current Romeo 2.0.

I can only hope that it beats the Juliets. Of all the X's, Juliets and Penny's are my least favorites. I'd love to see the R1 nosebridge brought back, but without the flaw.
