So far I am having a hard time getting them, but I wont get discouraged. Now knowing that FP has endorsed these as being special, I must have them. LOL.
Apologises for my poor colour recognition there....Just wanted to make sure i did not let slip of a rare pair of sunnies there...when i had the chance to keep it for my usage/collection that is....
If what you are asking is; Are the Brown Smoke Gascans and the Heineken Green Gascans the same? then the answer is no.
The Brown Smoke Gascan started off as an Iacon Exclusive and is now OPD, and the Heineken Green Gascans were never released but were given out at the manager meeting along with the Rust Gascan.
my colour recognition is not all that gd ....couple that with what my vague memory has left of the Brown smoke Gascan that i had seen before....I just thought i checked....
Rust is a bit more transparent, like Crystal Black, for instance. It's more towards 'bordeau'red.
The brown gradient is simmilar to the brown gradient in the Polished White Riddle.
Overall, I kinda like it. I have my doubts on a gradient lens in a Gascan however.
Edwin is right on the Gascan...however, I've had quite a lot of people digging the Gradient lense in them, it surprises me...guys too, not just women. I don't know I guess it's really a question of preference, some people love transparent or gradient lenses, I personally cannot stand to have glasses where people can see my eyes, just a personal opinion.
Spike Brown Gradient is more or less grown to my face at the moment. LOVE Gradient lenses at this time of the year when it's not sunny but still a little bright.
While I can't whole-heartedly get excxited about gradient lenses in general, I think they hold a niche within the collection. I enjoy my brown Montefrio ... the gradient lens is a bit of a cool throwback in a cool throwback frame.
No, still working him to get these. He also has the Gascans with the Oakley script written all over them. Trying to make a deal for the 2 of them. it has been very slow negotiations.
