I collect disc golf discs. These are just my rare collectibles. I have about 200+ regular discs that I play with, but these are special and unthrown.


Whats interesting is that people are obsessed with unthrown discs and disc that are at the maximum weight that the PDGA (Professional disc golf association) allows.

Also, instead of displaying them, it is preferred that the owner puts them in individual plastic bags and then in a box to keep them from fading in the sunlight. Quite the opposite of the clear towers we all have for our O's.




Signed by the two best players in all of Disc golf...Barry Shultz and Ken Climo. I met them playing a round before a tourney.




This disc is worth more than most pieces in my collection.
























Whats cool is that not only are there one-offs (which is what that Clear disc with the small stamp on it is) but also they state "First Run" like on the blue disc. It's a fun hobby that I have abandoned for my Oakley hobby, but it is still a stepping stone for me to get to where I am in the Oakley obsession. These are for the most part "the holy grails" or many disc golf collectors.

Interesting, never heard of that type of collecting before, but I imagine any given field has its holy grails. Love the lock it away mentality of collectors. I may not wear my pairs, but far be it from me to not even display them.

Yeah, it's pretty interesting. I don't think those discs have seen the light of day since I bought them. Theyre each in a plastic ziplock bag of their own and then inside of one box that I put inside another. Finally I have a t-shirt on top of box to block out any extra light. All of this is inside my closet as well. Pretty crazy.


They also have display stands, which is what is holding the disc up in the pics. There isn't such a demand for them like Oakley display stuff.

I collect Evangelion action figures, and Gundam Wing models and action figures, I'll see if I can get some pics up. I have the repaint EVAs and the glow in the dark still in the box.
Before my last divorce I had them mixed in with the China in the display cabinet, it was especially fun to have them with a progressive knife across the throats of our little ceramic wedding toppers, or have an N2 mine between them. I'd do that before thanks giving or a get together, no one ever thought it was as funny as I did...

I have the typical "I'm a big kid" collections. Right now, I'm sitting on over 100 1/18 Die Cast Cars, a few hundred in box Matchbox/Hot Wheels/1:64 cars, and the new GI Joe collectors pieces.

I also have collected the movie (movie only) Transformers. When I find my display case, these guys can protect the collection.

And which version of Mjolnir is that? I know a few different companies made these.

Yep, it’s the Blade sword, Sword of the Daywalker by United Cutlery.
Mjolnir is the Marvel Legends version.

Yeah, I like them because they provide unobstructed views from all angles. But of course having no frame boarder means it tougher to hide wiring.

Plus Detolfs are affordable and they obviously look good side by side. Agreed on hiding the wiring Oak but you handled it well in that photo.

Not really a collection, but my dad had model building as a hobby. He passed away a year ago, and I finally put these on display in my man cave.












He also made a few large, radio controlled ones. I got one of them.
