Try http://www.pandora.com/

You put in either the band or song you like, then it plays a constant stream of songs based around your choice.

You can vote weather you like or dislike songs as you go, and it learns your preferences.

Awesome!

I just entered a random combination of 5 digits so it works if you live outside the USA too :)

Interesting. Even more interesting is the first Crooked Fingers track it pulled was a fav and when I added Frank Black tot eh station the first song similar to the Figners was yet another fav. It'll be just as interesting to see where this all plays out to.

hmm.. very cool service! been playing around with it for the past hour or so, been playing around with Ride and The Cure, some songs were right on from the get-go, others were kinda random, but very nice way to discover new music anyway. also, the sound quality is quite nice too, doesn't sound like some crappy low-bit stream.

hey Phil, speaking of Crooked Fingers, i finally listened to the CD this weekend... i'll forever associate Crooked Fingers to Philly. great stuff!

I've been listening for about 5 hours and eventually you hear the same song once more. But besides that, it's good to hear about bands that I've never heard about.
