I won't be seeing much while I'm here. 11hr lay over, were just chilling in the Airport., I'm lucky enough to going Business (Free Tickets from my Bro) so we get the free use of Prestige lounge with free food and booze oh and wireless Internet, so I can spend all day on the o-review.

I said hi for ya Rick....

11 hours at Incheon airport???? I feel for you dude. I'd say go somewhere, but there is absolutely nothing even remotely close by. You'll be sweet in business class though.

Hey everyone, I've been kind of busy lately, so I apologize for not saying anything here sooner. I will be more than glad to help out anyway I can. I have Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark, InDesign, Pagemaker, Freehand, etc., experience.

Sounds good. Please feel free to throw whatever you may do into the Content Manager via the link above. Even if they're sketches of rough drafts. This won't get rolling until we have some material to work with. Thanks.

I have about 500 words on x-metals in general at the moment.

When I said I would write about the production process I had the hades article in mind. Now that it has been posted in a recent thread I dont want anyone thinking I have plagiarised it. It may be a good idea to ask for any written pieces to be properly referenced etceteras. I will post my piece when I have had a bit more time to polish it. Am working 6 x 12 hour shifts per week at the moment so bear with me.

oakley athletes ;just a question about this ; pictures of athletes are property of the athletes. do we need permission to add pics of those people ? and only major athletes , or also local athletes ?

I believe they're property of the company that took the photo.

i added a handful of close-up photos, can be used as background (if brightened and decreased contrast in photoshop would be great for bkgd) or clip-art content, namely close-ups of the Copper Judge, a GMT dial close-up, and the "Industrial Denim" tag on the Salvage Leather Jacket.

Nice work. I must get started on some written stuff. Are the categories in the content manager set in stone or just there to work with while we gather material?

Thanks for keeping the ball rolling Bong. I'll be getting some written stuff done in the next few weeks after this semester ends (Wed).

The catagoties aren't set in stone, it's just a text file with a list much like how the forum is set up. If I change the text listing, so will the catagories. Everything at this stage is a test bed until things start forming.

oh my god!

man i wish i'd kept a closer eye on the review!

this is a wicked idea, count me in, like a couple of guys, i can't offer much apart from photos i guess, don't have any packages or whatever to use on my crap computer,

that apple program idea sounds cool

and yes, there should be a vault for the book.

man if we approached oakley and loosely worked with them to make sure we don't tread on their toes legally, they could surely knock out a few custom vaults for us...

Good to have you on board. I hope this will pick up steam in the next few weeks. Keep your eye's peeled. If you can do some write-ups, that won't require any fancy packages.

Please dont think I am trying to drag the tone of this thread down but have any of you seen/read/ogled madonna's SEX book.

From what I remember it was loose leaf pages which were spiral bound (not the plasticy crap, the spiral looked like raw steel wire) with what appeared to be an etched aluminium sheet for the front and back pages.

I thought this might be easier to do, more cost effective and still keep with the industrial theme.

There, now that I have said that you can choose to either call me a smut peddler or go and ogle the book for yourself.

Can't say I've seen it, but from the sound of it, we can outdo Madonna, and that's just fine with me.
