So I'm beginning to notice a HUGE lack in Oakley stores and productsi n the US. I know we have SGH's that sell some Oakleys, but thats about it. I've been searching all over for an X-Metal metal vault for my Oakleys and no store even carries a metal vault of any kind. I've also been looking for other various clothing/accessories from Oakley but thats impossible...and I live in Columbus, Ohio too where 3 enormous malls have been built recently. I've also checked out the Oakley website for store locatiosn and Europse os LOADED, but the US has like 1 or two...any ideas on why this is or where I can pick up some Oakley gear?

When it comes to oakley specific store, we have none here. We do have a lot of optical shops that carries oakley glasses but with limited styles/colors. Only one department store and one sports shop that I know that has a section for oakley products but still limited. Thanks that there is Ebay. Been an oakley enthusiast for some time but still I have not seen a lot of products.Maybe should get a vacation in US and visit your oakley stores there, or maybe better the oakley headquarters.

We do this on purpose so that our product gains in value. Unlike N#@E where you can go to Target and get anything you want. The harder it is to get Oakley the more your going to want it. Just like anything else in the world. I'm sorry alot of people can't always get what they want but if everyone got what they wanted where would we put it?

But... I have so much money to spend on it. :(

There aren't any readily accessible O Stores in Oz, and the one close to where I am now has such a pathetic lineup in terms of non-eyewear. I'm at my wit's end here, when all I want is stuff like a stupid bag and a dumb hat! X(

As far as in the US I think you will start to see more O stores but you will not see them everywhere Its like mondo said, if they were cheep and you could get them anywhere would you still want them?

I must just be lucky. I live in Denver and have access to two O stores, both often carry quite different stock, too!

I hope they build an O Store in Columbus.

I do understand the need for keeping the market from becoming flooded (I've taken several economics classes) but I also know from those classes that there are TONS of mutually beneficial transactions that could go on that aren't. I think one O store per state would do well to help supply the true Oakley die-hards with their Oakley needs.

Hmmm...the idea of cheap and plentiful Oakleys just sounds so appealing!!!

Well, at least Oakley.com ships to customers in the US. That's more than they bother to do for the rest of us. ;)

i've said this on another thread that we should make like a oakley post office to ship nothing but oakley in a honorable and timely rate.

They don't always sell everything they offer on their website. Like, Im dying for the SKull embossed wallet but can't get it anywhere but ebay for 110 bucks.

Agreed. My OPD's owner had to sit down with the Oakley Rep and have a long talk with him due to the absolute lack of anything sellable coming to his store. For awhile all he would get was clothing, which really isn't a bad thing, but it doesn't help his sales all that much. He didn't get a big shipment of newer glasses in for about 4 months. Went from having about 350 Oakley glasses to about 115. Thankfully, he got a ton of glasses in and has all the newer styles in a bunch of the colorways. But on the whole it seems that there isn't a large amount of anything Oakley at OPDs or O Stores as of late.

I think that Oakley, besides the sunglasses, is really a pain in the ass to get products from.

There should be around 20 new o-stores this year, so in about 3-4 years, it will be a lot easier for a lot of us to get what we want...

And please make a better and more complete website !

Where are these new O-Stores being built at by chance? Any in the midwest like.....OHIO?

I just feel that the O Stores that are already around should be more well-stocked. I mean, I'm overseas now, and for months I was so eager to splurge at the O Store I knew was here. A bitter disappointment, to say the least.

That's sweet that theyre finally getting at it. I can't wait until they come to Columbus.

Hey Robert, I have 2 questions for you. First, How do you know all of these things(Im new, sorry). And second, if you have any sway with Oakley, could you ask them to look into Columbus? They would do very well at a mall called Easton or Polaris. These are high end malls that were built very recently that command a lot of business. Theyre always expanding in the surrounding areas too. Easton is an outdoor mall and would be perfect for an O-store.
