My old R34GTR...
the money shot...
back in the day, 9 years ago...
There are a few GTR's in the US, and there are a couple of LHD converted cars, but they are usually stolen and then converted in Dubai and not advisable purchases.
I have driven my GTR in Europe on the wrong side of the road many imes, sometimes doing that most dispicable of things - street racing - which should be frowned upon and not condoned in any way, although ends up as par for the course with a 600+bhp GTR !!
I quite fancy one of the new GTR's but dont have the funds these days. Cant say that I agree about them being that much better than a Lambo or 458. Certainly my old Porsche GT3 had steering that I doubt Nissans engineers understood could be made 15 years ago, totally awesome on track, but too slow on the road admittedly.
If you want lightweight, twin turbos and superb handling in the US then I would look towards a Noble which I think were made under licence by Rastion Motorsport.
