That Black Chrome looks almost brown or gold. I hope it's still like the older Black Chrome.

Also, I hope they release Ice lenses on these. Then, I can make some BC/Ice Spikes.

FP...So what are the other combo's. We know of 6 on oakley.com. Can you tell us of the other combos you have?

I'm trying to think of what psychology would be behind FP buying 10 pairs of the Spike. I can usually justify any purchase Oakley related, but I'm having trouble with this one. I'd love to hear more.

I'm kinda disappointed by Spike. The matte black feels kinda tacky (haven't seen the others yet) and I wish they had an integrated hinge... they look kinda knockoff-ish on close inspection.

Do like the little fake eyebolts around the Icon though, and the square earsocks are a neat touch.

yeah, i'm lovin' the overall earstem look, with the little rivets around the icon... the rest of the frames look appealing as well. hopefully i'll be able to try on a pair at the O-Store soon.

Well I tried on the Spike Today. I was very suprised to see them in the stores here already. I saw the Chrome/VR28 and The Matte Black. The Chrome had to much bling fopr me with the extra size of the frame, but the Matte Black looked the Bomb.
I really liked them overall, the fit was comfortable and the size idn't look to big on me.

Verdict: YES i will be getting some, color to be decided when i see the others. But most likely the Light/Titanium Iridium, because of the lens.

Tried on the Spike Titianium today....no matter how much I tried I couldn't like them.... They do not convey the cutting edge uniqueness that originally attracted me to Oakley....they look like everything else out there and I can get that at my local Quickie - Mart.....

So-so-so diappointed....
