Why call yourself Factory Pilot out of all the Oakley names out there? Maybe you can answer that honestly.

I cant believe someone asked this question on this forum.
If you have glasses other than Oakleys, get rid of them.
You should be banished from this website forever!!!

And of course you have to sign it with a J, to yet further confuse us. I'm still betting on Lil Jon.

I will say again, I do love my Dragon Optical glasses as well. All in all not that uber Oakley quality but very high in their own right. Many many similarities to Oakley in fit, style and hinge sculpting. They have only got better over the years they've been around.

One thing I always notice with Dragon and Oakley though, as soon as I see a new Dragon a few weeks later Oakley has something almost identical. Well, I never know who's actually shows first but they are always released in the same month. When teh Oakley Minute hit so did the Dragon Box. When I bought a pair of Dragon Ghost, the Monster Dog was released very shortly after.

One wierd thing about Dragon, when I worked for Sunglass Hut we were supplied with warranty addresses for all companies and the Dragon Return address was Oakley even though I had a separate Dragon warranty address as well. Hmm? I know the man who created Dragon came from Oakley but it would be interesting if Oakley facilities prodced his glasses since he remained in southern cali as well and made his glasses in the USA.

OT - I remember o.com in a recent incarnation had an athlete's section that was permanently under construction and would scroll athletes' names next to their sport. One guy was listed for shuffleboard. I am not making this up.

I need to get sponsored for being a student.

Got a few from Rayban, Sama, Blinde, and Black Fly. Mostly movie-based, so they're more for my sunglass collection rather than wearing.

Got a pair of Raybans - they're tight - I'm not a slave to any company - the fit has to be right - and the look has to suit me - just cus its Oakley doesnt mean its always going to be right for me

I used to have some Ray-Ban, Revo, MauiJim, Vaurnet (sp?) ... all from a short stint at SGH working PT. Ended up exchanging them all over time as new Oakley styles were released.

My first "expensive" pair of sunglasses was in 1984.
They were the Classic Gargoyles Sunglasses that Arnold Schwarzenegger wore in The Terminator.
They were described as "bullet proof", having been tested at 10 feet with a .22 without penetration.
I still have them today.

Three pair of Nikes (V6, Hyperion, Aileron), Spy Scoop, 2 pairs of Armani's, and a hideous pair of Bolle's. I would gladly trade them all for one more pair of Oakleys.
