....is on Nov 15. I heard that info from an O store.

sorry for the blurry picture but these looks a lot better than the picture shown.

I believe they are of an O-luminum material with a new Oakley LOGO.

Whoa, thanks for the pics. Not my style, but I'd like to see it in person.

Thanks for the pics Cal!
They do look Riddle-ish don't they?!
I like the fact that they are made out of O-Luminum and that they aren't the one piece shield like the riddle plus they appeal to me more than the Montefrio.

What new logo? Is it that sharper icon I've seen in use recently? Whack, that's a bad thing?

I'm not the biggest fan of the sharper logo, I like the nice smooth oval-esque one better myself. Yeah I thought WHACK was usually a bad thing.

it's ok, i don't speak hip-hop either (and i'm ok with that -really) but i think "whack" is to this decade what "bad" was in 80s.

anyway, cal, where the hell did you see that? it kinda looks like an x-metal riddle that mated with a gascan. it seems that the earstems with the little "wings" at the temples are oakley's new design signature. anyway, thanks for the update.

Is it just me or is anyone else not a big fan of the gapped hinge design like the Riddle? I really want to see better pics but it kinda looks like a mish mash of other design cues but mostly Riddles. Also does anyone have a better pic of this new Logo?

Actually, I'm a fan of the gapped hinge; it's what struck me the most about the Riddle. I think it makes a better transition than just a line where two pieces of O-Matter (or whatever) meet.

I'm with Dann on this one. I don't really like it in the pictures, but it could be a completely different story when you actually wear it.

The fact that it's metal will, I think, make it a little more refined & tasteful looking than the big, gaudy Riddle.

I'd hate for them to blow a really cool name on a not cool pair of shades so I'm keeping my hopes up.

Great pic Dann. Can anyone confirm C5 or O-Luminum? I think there's some debate on that.

Something I'll have to see in person. It looks odd in that pic, but then so did Hatchet when I first saw it.

I haven't seen C5 in anything other than thin wire form. O-luminum seems more appropriate for thicker frame types.
