I've been asked if I'm sponsored by Oakley before and if I was famous and didn't want to be recognised when I wore my Medusa and goggles in a club, well if i was famous and didn't want recognition i wouldn't be out wearing a medusa!! so any way, i said yeah and ended up back at her place!!

I got asked by one of my brothers less than bright friends

"What are you an Ethiopian?"

I think he meant "what do you think you are a Kenyan runner?"

and yes I got the Oakley bastard stare from the SGH people.

What it is is that they don't understand the appreciation for Oakleys high performance and unique design. Ray ban, Maui Jim, and even luxotica don't have that sort of following, so I imagine that it is hard for them to understand.

hmm... i've never gotten the "Oakley Bastard" look before, but then again i usually don't dress from head to toe with it... i tend to mix things up. there is this one sales rep from SGH who knows me as the "Oakley Guy" and she greets me as such whenever she sees me walk in though...

At the VIP party for the opening of the TorontO-Store, Rob, Eric and myself have been asked about 4-5 times each ''So what's your job with Oakley?'' :)

A lot of people ask me if I'm an Oakley rep, even at SGH's and OPD's. My friends always ask if I'm sponsored or else they call me a "walking Oakley advertisement". I don't mind. And I don't think it's wrong to over-love Oakley, otherwise, call me sick then. I don't care.

Whats the difference between wearing all: NIKE, CALVIN KLIEN, POLO, or Ambercrombie Finch. NONE!
It's only because Oakley is so different that it stands out and makes a statement.
I'd sooner look different to every other Joe Blow out there!
so OAKLEY it is.

I quit worrying about wearing Oakley head-to-toe when I found this place....I get a lot of people asking me if I work for Oakley....I'm with Jamey - screw it, don't care what people think....The absolute only time I'm not Oakley clad is when I'm in the shower....

i wouldn't be able to dress from top to botton in Oakley anyway (although i wouldn't mind)... i'm missing pants/jeans, LOL. they insist on generalizing sizes... 36 waist won't come with an inseam smaller than 32, and i need 30.

if loving the "O" is wrong , please don't let me be right !

Believe ti or not , i don't wear anything else but Oakley , head to toe , and proud of it...

I can pick whatever i want in my shop , from Billabong to Fox , but it's just not my thing !

For example , today i'm wearing my RADAR SHOES in black,
Tech sock low Black , tactical field short and icon tee.

and when i'm walking outthere ; THUMP's 256 night camo

I wholeheartedly agree with Jamey, Nik and Fred - I'm pretty much always wearing at least two items of O, and often am decked out head to toe in the stuff, and I'm proud to do so, because I love it and I think they make great stuff.

People notice but they only take the piss in a friendly kind of way, so that's cool - I quite like it actually.

I do wear a few other brands, I believe Fred stocks a few of them, like Oxbow and Fox, but nothing beats the O.

So, is it wrong to over-love the O? No way.

my girlfriend call me "I am a Oakleywhore" ! :-))
I was this year in Canada for Vacation and I went to a Oakleystore in a mall....a little kid asked me for help...because he thouhgt I sell the stuff here. I was dressed up with Oakley from my shoed to my head. Was funny when I told him I don´t sell the stuff. His face was like "hey what the foook are you talking, you must be there seller you are dressed in Oakleystuff". :-)))

I'm with Nik also, prior to finding this site i was a little hesitant about wearing to much O. Now i hate it when I'm not wearing enough, it's like I'm not dressed properly!
I walk and Talk tall all dressed in O.

I dont usually try and dress head to toe in O, but some days is just happens all by itself without me even realising. I just chuck on boxers, jeans, shirt, shoes and all of a sudden, BAM! I'm head to toe in the O!
I sometimes get the odd ribbing from mates and when I first started going into the ostore I used to get asked if I was from head office, but 99% percent of the time no one says much.
