Hi all, just continuing the talk about Thump;

Apparrently Lil Jon's nickname is "The King of Crunk" and he's been marketing his Red Camos he calls his "Crunk Sunglasses" together with his new Crunk Energy Drink.

As far as I could tell, there was only one celebrity at the Lil Jon party for his Crunk! energy drink and new Oakley sunglasses - and that man was none other than assistant-shagging rehabber Andy Dick. Mr. Dick sat fairly calmly at a booth as all around him people were lighting up smokeable substances, drinking Crunk cocktails (one was called "Lil Red Bitch") and half naked gogo dancers shimmied to Lil' Jon's "Get Low." After about 20 minutes, he left.

According to rapdirt.com at another function to promote his Oakleys and "Red Camo Crunk Juice" he got into a shoving match with reporters and a few fists were thrown. Very unique promotional techniques to show off your new Oakleys, don't you all think?


PS: No offence to those who are big fans of Lil Jon.

Factory Pilot said that Thump makes a "Thump Thump" sound when you turn it on. It would be hilarious if the Lil Jon Thump went YEAAAAAAAH!!!! or WWHAAAATT!!??? when you fired it up.

All I know is Lil' Jon is pushing one of the best frame colours we've seen in a while and I don't blame the guy for taking a contract with Oakley - I'd do the same.

That's my 0.02 (and the last time I stand up for a celebrity. Sheesh).

On the Thump side of things, 128Mb for 60 songs and 256 for 120 songs? Oakley pegs those stats at 64kb encoding. At those rates maybe all you ever hear is 'Thump Thump'. I can't see going any lower that 128 unless it's spoken word you're listening to.
