That's pretty much what most people here feel. I don't like the riddle, but I'd still probably pick one up for the collection if I have a deal I couldn't turn down.

I told Fred about this site, he's my OPD.
If you ever come to the Netherlands be sure you visit Fred's store. American Image in Helmond sure is the best Oakley store in the Netherlands.

You definitely need a certain head/face to wear the Riddle. The funny thing is that the latest Oakley catalogue lists it as being for medium sized heads.

Is it just me or does anyone else find the Riddle very front heavy?

they are a bit front heavy but the frame itself has such steep curve designed into it that i can't see them slipping off that easily unless you're just ridiculously sweaty.

and yeah, i asked the salepeople at two different stores about riddle buyers and the majority seems to be women.

I finally took the plunge and tried on the Riddle this past week. I was just expecting them to look silly and completely girly. But NO, I couldn't even get them to fit my head, too narrow. Sure, I've got a big head, but seriously...at least I can try on the other styles and verify that they are too small and/or girly for me.

BTW, been down around LA this past 2 weeks (Pamona college campus), so it's good to get back into the swing of things. Fun story: actually met the gal in the Hollywood O-store who sold Nik his Ruby Mars. OK, maybe not a "fun" story, but I gotta start somewhere.

She was a cool chick....I wonder if she's sold a pair since....I wonder if they work on comission 'cause I dropped almost a grand with her.

I want to go back but gotta save up...not for the trip but what I spend when I'm there.....

Actually, what was interesting is that the girl at the O-store told me almost all Riddle buyers were girls. However at the OPD (a skate and bike shop) I was told that guys made up about 40% of buyers. Gascans were also quite popular.

And living in Miami Beach, where everyone and there grandmother is fashion-concious, it makes sense since the in thing is those huge lenses. I even see them on a lot of guys here.

It also probably helps that the Riddles are a little cheaper (at least the non-polarized) than similar Pradas or Gucci or whatever and those don't have the cachet of Oakleys.

The riddle is aimed more at women for sure even in store pop shows it on women. I have sold a few to men (by few I mean 2) but the things just look HOT on women big is in especially in women’s sunglasses and men’s watches. the white it brown fade are very popular as well as the strait black and gray.
