one of my favorite sellers e-mailed me since he got a new shipment in and i asked him about the timebombs.

he said that the cost of the timebomb watches for him are well above what they normally go for on ebay. do you guys believe this? they retail for approximately 1400-1500

i could believe it if he says they cost him like 550 or high 400's... since it's definitely possible to get a timebomb on ebay for below 400 dollars. In that case it could be true, or he could just be bsing you because overstock.com has had timebomb pretty cheap at one time or another.

Actual cost on a Timebomb is $600 for the $1500 ones and $520 on the $1300 ones.

But I would guess that dealers dont have all the SAME discount am I right ?

Probably depends on how much O stuff they buy on a monthly basis and many more factors.

I don't beleive for a second that the actually cost of a $1500 timebomb is $500. They sold them to the employees for like $300-$350 and theres no way they would sell them at a loss.

I think he meant retail cost (the cost Oakley sell the Timebomb to retailers) not Oakley's production cost. Retail cost is normally half of retial price.
