Phil, I totally agree (and have done since the first time I saw em'!) I soooo want a pair it's untrue! but as you say, with only 50 pairs going to managers they're as rare as rocking horse sh*t!

Yeah, and if I remember, someone who has a pair here, tried to make it happen that they could be released to the general public, but it did not happen...

Yeah, we'll probably see MD2 before that one goes into mass pro.

Rare to me is stuff Oakley has produced in low numbers be it prototypes, sports marketing colors, custom lenses, or whatever.

Rare is not switching lenses in a particular model to "make" a "one off" or repainting your own glasses to make something nobody else has.

I myself am rare; there's just one of me.

Fortunately, I guess...

I still don't get the undying appeal of those MD's. It's just a few lines, is all.

Cuba is still not ´libre´ but I love it anyway. As far as the alcohollic version of ´Cuba Libre´...love those even more. Same goes for the Cubanitas and dancing salsa.

If only the man with the beard would leave...

Some Cuban Oakley pix coming up.

Well, Kev, it's not that I think he's bad for Cuba - after all people were found dead at streetcorners during Batista's time - but from coming from the capitalist western world, I can see some things that can be changed for the bennefit of all Cubans.
But perhaps this is something for a new thread?

Sorry for the Nike shirt. We were backpacking through the Nicaraugan mountains and volcanos. I really did not want to ruin my good shirts. I did give them a little money, but they were more scared of me than anything. The guns were real, but no bullets. They had sharpen them to be more like a spear. They were afraid when a 6'2 300+ Americano comes around... They were nice after I gave them the money... It is the universal language!
