7 minutes of the Spider-man 3 movie, giving even an entire Goblin/Spidey fight. It looks damn good. May 4th can't come soon enough.

Saw 300 yesterday. Not a bad movie at all, and definitely better than the Graphic Novel it was based off of. The added subplots produce a richness to the storyline that the GN fails to achieve. I find that it's a movie that will be appreciated a lot more viewed on the big screen rather than on DVD (unless of course you've got a big ass TV).

The violence was graphic but not overly so. It felt more like animated violence than regular movie violence due to the excessive use of CGI.

Like Frank Miller's other GN-based movie, Sin City, most viewers will enjoy it, but it's not a best-of-2007-type movie. Go see it and you'll have a good time, but don't expect a classic or anything.

I just saw 300 as well. I liked it a lot. The cinematography was just beautiful. A must see in the theater in my opinion.

I have always hated the fact that the webbing comes out of the backs of his hands and not below the palm. Where's the logic and in having to twist his wrist around to grab the strand. Looks like it's coming out the back of his hand there. I hoped they'd correct it for this.

Saw "Shooter" tonight, all around pretty strong but it does drag on a lil towards the end but we went to the 10pm show and we were all tired or maybe a lil hung-over (me!) but all in all if you like Walberg and action type movies pretty solid. Not sure where the mountain scenes were shot but very beautiful indeed. Worth the viewing, IMHO.

Reviewed the first Spider-Man trailer today.
Does anyone remember thinking it odd that the black suit was off, sitting in his dresser drawer in one shot? Doesn't allowing yourself to be easily removed from the host defeat the purpose of being a symbiotic entity?

Where did you get those pics, anyway? I can't find a damn thing...

False state of security until the symbiote feels the need to really latch onto it's host.

Me, I am going to see TMNT tonight. Yeah, that's right.

By sheer accidant I saw a flick last nioght called "Slow Burn" with LL Cool J and Ray Liota, I planned to walk out after I saw that I bought the wrong fricken ticket (duh!!) but watched it and it was really good to my surpirise. I wanted to see the Willis/Berry flick but...

Today we saw "Pathfinder" and if you like action flicks such has 300, Gladiator and like gore this will suite you just fine. a viking/native american flick, worth the view, IMHO.

Enjoy.

Well tonight i had the luck of seeing the premier of SPIDERMAN 3 here in Western Australia.

Spidey 3 is an awesome movie, a brilliant balance of emotion, characters and action. The movie real focuses on the inner feelings of Peter Parker and how being Spiderman influences his personality and the effects it has on the ones he loves the most. It's not drawn out with endless fight sequences, though the battles with Harry (Green Goblin) Sandman and even Venom are well done in my view. What I really enjoyed is that the movie is about Spiderman/Peter Parker and not the villians.

I have to add and say all 3 movies are equal and as good as each other. Go and see Spidey 3 I doubt you will be disappointed.

See, if nothing else, you foreigners can take solice in the fact that you get to see movies before they're ever released to the general American public!

I so cannot wait for Spider-Man 3. I'm just so glad that Sam Raimi has more morals and ethics than apparenly Bryan Singer has and that he decided to finish the three movies he signed on for instead of dumping the last one to someone else for another project.

That sell-out bastard...

I hope it's better than the first one. F4 was kinda cheesy the first time around because it has the guy who played Jake from Not andother Teen Movie. This one looks pretty good, and it looks like they revive Dr. Doom to help fight Silver Surfer, which is sweet because Julian McMahon is a great actor.

I have the same feelings. I think with the obligatory 'origin' story out of the way, they can concentrate on more interesting events.

Wow. Reports are streaming in that SM3's domestic Box Office actuals for the weekend exceed $151M and the worldwide tally for the week is $381M. It'll likely gross more than $500M by the end of this week. That's amazing.

Looks like the same tires from the Tumbler.
Has anyone seen Fantastic 4 yet? Johnny Storm AKA The human torch reveals a redesigned uniform featuring a bunch of sponser logos one of which being the Ray Ban logo prominently displayed on the right side of the chest! PUKE!!! Oh well, I thought it was a really good movie otherwise.

Saw Live free or Die Hard Wednesday night. From the time I sat down until I walked out this flick was a non stop roller coaster, I kid you not!!!
If you like action packed, summer popcorn flicks, this is your ticket, look no further. If I had anything I wasnt so crazy about it was the use of cgi from the get go, first few minutes of the movie, willis is shot on blue screen and it shows, but it kinda gets better has it goes. A lot of far fetched stuff happens has always but in reality the premise of the movie is very imaginable in this day and age, terrorism at its worst on home soil.

We had a great time at this show!

Willis still rocks for an old schooler :)

Just saw Sicko by Michael Moore, a VERY powerful film I tought, raises a lot of questions I think, a very well executed movie, try to see it, really worth it.

Its funny and sad at parts but trully entertaining.
