Hi All,
Do any of you own or have seen a pair of genuine Freeman Transport Jawbones are these real or fake?

The colour of the frame is the same, but the bolt and icon colours look different.

Oak or Dann or pastor.elfstrom, can you guys shed any light on this?

At first glance it looks ok to me; the finish quality, colour and clarity of the inner earstem markings seem consistent from what I can see in the pics. While yes, all the other Freeman Transports I’ve seen indeed have black icons, black bolts and Vented lenses, that doesn’t necessarily rule those that don’t have them out.

As for the authenticity, what is the origin of that specific pair? I always live by “fake until proven real”, especially with pairs that can be easily replicated like the Freeman Transports. Unless there is definitive provenance, I usually consider everything custom.

Thanks Oak & Wavecloud!

I think the lenses should be vr50 photochromic judging from the picture of the original.

I'm supposed to be getting them from Joseph Smith from the Lion Museum.

Apparently, he's double checking with Freeman Transport themselves. I assume when he bought them, he thought they were original too.
