The auction says they were owned by Robbie Mcewen and they match the colour of the pair worn by him in his Predictor-Lotto days so could be a custom pair but they do seem to have an FMJ finish?

Not just you! I've had to return a pair before because the box was crushed by shitty packaging. The guy didn't understand that I was more after the box than the glasses inside it! lol

No way to fix it. Time for new lenses. Going forward though I would follow these tips:

Don't leave your glasses on your head if you use any kind of hair product. I mean anything other than shampoo. If you use hair gel or shit like that you're just getting that all over your lenses.

Clean them at the end of the day. I don't mean just wipe them off, I rinse my glasses off if I've been wearing a pair all day then use some lens cleaner and a fresh cleaning cloth. I never use the microfiber bag. That thing was in my pocket, it's not going near my lenses lol


This is how I do mine and I don't ever have delam problems. In fact I have the original lenses out of my Ruby Juliet that I bought in 2000 and wore almost daily for 14 years and they aren't delaminated. A little scratched lol but not delaminated.

As a maker I can appreciate the time he spent learning how to and designing that to get it just how he wants. I did the same thing to get 4 tier stands for my Oakleys lol
