For those who have not received a friends and family code to use online, please email directly at kkarzen@oakley.com to receive (1) code. Only available for use in the USA. I will be sending codes out until Thursday, June 18th at 5pm PST. No requests will be fulfilled after that.

Also, this coming Friday, June 19th, we have 10 select Oakley Stores that will be hosting an exclusive shopping night featuring a few pieces of our women's collection, 30% friends and family discount on select eyewear, apparel, and accessories, Type Oâ„¢ double points, and some light snacks/refreshments while you shop. Please note, our regular assortment of product, in addition to the women's collection, will be available for purchase.

The events all start at 7:30PM in their respective time zones.

I'm fairly certain they track the codes to who they were sent to and who uses them. With what I've heard/read, they're cracking down on this with the discount abuse that's been going on.

That being said, I certainly hope that since it is friends and family. We do have the ability to forgo using the code for ourselves and instead give the code to a friend or family member we are trying to introduce the glasses to.

I wouldn't think this is the purpose of us receiving the the F&F code. For those I've introduced to Oakley, I've either purchased their first Oakleys for them as a gift or I send them into their local Bunker to purchase their first pair. If they go into purchase, they'll be asked to register for Type-O and should receive thier own F&F code next time.

Just this past F&F I brought a co-worker in to a Bunker to purchase her first Oakleys; I reached out to the Store Mgr ahead of time and asked if they could provide her the F&F discount. That same week while I was out of town, my buddy (Best Man in my wedding) was in town where I live and asked if I could help him out with a purchase. I called my Home Bunker and asked if they could provide him the F&F discount before telling him about the discount. They said of course, and I sent home in to pick-up Carbon Blades.

And earlier this year my sister in NJ was starting to run and was having problems with the sunglasses she was using; she asked me for advice and of course I pointed her towards women's sport frames. F&F rolled around, I sent a message to the Store Mgr of the Bunker near her home, and they took care of her... she was blown away by the experience.

So no I still don't believe the codes we are sent, are to be shared with others; but I have yet to have a Bunker deny offering the F&F Discount to any of my Friends & Family upon asking the local Bunker.

In-store Friends and Family looks like it will be 3/18-4/3. Not sure if we will be getting e-mail codes too.

Yeah, I've never received a F&F email. Ever. I regularly receive marketing emails. Then on Tuesday I got not one, but two F&F paper mailers. Just another mysterious data point.
