Heard back from support, they pushed the two eyewear registration points through; "they should have been added," was the response on that.

Also added my recent F&F purchase in too...

Went to O store today, and they couldn't find my email in the program..UGH. I signed up at this store, and have been a subsequent time too without issue... new purchase didnt get put in...

how do you upload your Buys with a reciept? Was just lenses and icons today, so nothing to register...

From talking to some other people, e-mails support has been very helpful moving scanned paper receipts into the system.

They will not always be able to find you in the customer look up. Its not the way it is meant to work. The way you get your in store points is just after the employee takes your form of payment they should ask for your email and if you are a Loyalty Member. At that point they should type in the email you give them (make sure its the same one you signed up with) tick a box that says Loyalty and that will link your purchase to your account. Then your receipt will print.

one word of caution when/if you sign up, if you already have an Oakley.com login use the SAME email address. It will alleviate much aggravation.

Basically it's an attempt to quantify loyalty. There's a few caveats like not accounting for vintage collectors or those who only buy a few things, but use them religiously. (I know out of almost 300 pair, I probably actively wear less than most casual fans)

So a few thing to note:

1) Sign up as Robert has suggested and make sure you use your normal oakley.com account. It won't be the same physical account, and the passwords will be different, if chosen differently. I know my original oakley.com one was capped at 8 characters, and now they want special characters and numbers, while the Type O doesn't appear to be too picky.

2) You will earn 'Buy' points if you a) purchase online from oakley.com or the vault site and your account there matched your Type O e-mail, and b) in store as long as you ensure every time that they get your e-mail and check the loyalty box. Not every employee will be as savvy as us, so be sure to let them know if they don't ask first

3) You can earn points by registering eyewear purchased within the past two year

4) You will eventually be able to earn points via social channels, but not at this time (though you get a few freebies by signing up)

5) If you've seen the recent collector events, those types of things will eventually be channeled through this system so sign up anyway. You will also earn points by attending.

6) Don't think of points like Credit Card points or cash back, but rather stepping stones for levels so you can unlock cool things (also undecided so far aside from some wallpaper and the print)

7) Yes this will end up being a dong measuring contest by some. Pay them no mind.

I don't think so. Just Oakley.com, oakleyvault.com, and Physical stores.

Just curious, has anyone been given points for frame registrations before 03/01. I'm being told that none of my frame registrations from February count for points on my type o account.

supersharp, I purposely didn't start registering my eyewear until after the Nationwide roll-out of the program; after the Beta status was removed. I had a feeling something like that might be the case, and held off.

Im pretty sure I put some in the system before the rollout. I am waiting on a few more from recent purchases that have been stuck in the system for a week now. I bumped up a few more levels with some recent purchases but still havent unlocked anything.

I didn't register them until after the national roll out, but I'm being told that, since they were purchased in February they don't qualify for the bonus 40 points.

Same here, and no closure on the X-Metal print either. I've called several times with people telling me they will email me back. I got one response today, but it was to tell me that my registration points will not be applied since the purchases were made in February.

I am not sure I understand the system to be honest. It says that I am Level 1 with 146 points.....but underneath that it says that my total points is 646. I am not sure why there is a difference. I also do not see where I received credit for the 2 frames I purchased and registered last weekend.
