Holy Crap! When did Oakley stop charging extra for Polarized lenses?

I once again say - they need to have better pictures on their website instead of the shite ones they post - Factorypilot - take notice and inform the higher ups.

Brian, I spotted that too. $130 for polarized. It says

Coming Soon Order Now
Order will ship: March 23, 2005

I reckon it might be worthwhile placing an order now before someone realises its not up properly cos I dont see that beeing for real. Polarized same as iridium coaing? Doubt it!

The Earstems fangs point out so they don't cut into your head when you put them on. I was wondering about the White/G30 pair also, I don;t think it's a UK ex. Maybe they just don't want to debut them all yet.

It seems that image would show up no matter what you put. Try replacing the G30 with G31 or anything.

It's also nice that the US-Canada price difference isn't so drastic this time. $185 for non-Iridium and $195 for Iridium and Polarized. That's way better than previous Wires and other glasses for that matter. Might have to get a pair now. How's VR28 Black for a lens? I've never owned it and I was wondering if anyone could comment on it.

Jamey, VR28 Black is actually my fav lens to wear. The Black Iridium gives that little extra kick for bright sun and the VR28 shade is great to look through. Comfortable for all day use. Even low light. Give it a try. I have it in a pair of Fives 2.0 and I put it in my Juliets.

Agreed, I have VR28 Black on my Penny. The red-brown tint is very soothing in a wide range of light conditions, and the black iridium gives a very light mirror finish to the lens and blocks out a little additional light compared to the non-iridium VR28. I recommend it.

Right on guys. I just might have to make the Chrome/VR28 Crosshair my next purchase. And if I like that, I'll probably pick up some VR28 Black lenses for my Juliet on eBay. Man, I love this site. I find it's helped out so many people in emptying out their wallets.

Why can't I get to them via links?

The Wire page doesn't list them or the Whisker or Why 8.2... what gives?

Oakley will probably redesign the entire website before springs is over to get in all the new glasses. Until then they're just searchable. It's part of the whole not updating the website too frequently complaint we all have.
