So i went thrift shopping today,and with a hell of luck i found 2 pairs of 1st gen oakley juliets for $2 a pop. i'm actually selling them on craigslist and got way too many offers aha.

So the 1st one is a TiO2 / VR28 Black Juliet 1st gen 1999 release
The 2nd one is a Plasma / Fire Juliet 1999 release

Howmuch do you think i can sell them for. the vr28's are in very good condition,no scratches,nose bridge is prestige. Just needs new nosepiece and earsocks. and the plasmas need a nose piece/earsocks and a tune up.

Juliets for $2? Sounds like fakes...

i did a check up with the serial numbers and codes,and the employees aren't too familiar with oakleys,observing that the only things they do keep in glass are ray-bans and other hyped up brands.

Why don´t you post a picture of the glasses? I don´t think many here would buy glasses unseen that have costed $2...

for that price and the fact you claim them to be 1st gen why not keep them, If they are the real deal, then as a collector having them would be very nice.


As for what you can sell them for..... what ever anyone is prepared to pay.

This is a informational/enthusiast board, so we don't generally get into assigning hard values to things. Not really out of elitism, but more practicality due to the inherent subjective nature of 'value'. Doing a search for completed listings on ebay is your best bet, but even then you will see a scatter shot of prices going all over the place.

I'd side with Mike, and say you got a great deal, and both would be perfect for a collection.

Agreed that your CL posting isn't what you say they are. I recommend doubling your money and get $4 each. You can never go wrong with doubling your money!
